			Well-Executed Raspberry-Leather DNA

Here is the latest flanker from the Wanted line. The Wanted line has already become quite extensive with many flankers, just like many in the designer sector. L'Oreal is also relatively well-known for "milking" their best-selling lines and frequently coming out with many flankers. However, this is nothing unusual today, as these lines are known to perform very well with their established image and name. Here you get a golden bottle with the subtitle "Forever." Such a revolver drum can be marketed extremely well among teenagers and young men. Even though many are somewhat annoyed by the numerous releases of flankers, it can be worthwhile, and that's why one should always check out the fragrances, especially with an interesting pyramid. Here, the well-known leather-raspberry theme has been picked up, which has hardly been seen in the designer sector. It's more of a niche thing, if we disregard Tom Ford's designer line "Ombré Leather (2018) (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford." There are relatively many on the market with this combo, even in the low-budget dupe market from Dubai. Therefore, nothing that blows you away. Nevertheless, I can draw a positive summary.
You can find this fragrance under Forever Wanted Elixir. The Elixir is not officially registered here, but it belongs to the name. Not a big deal, as there is only one Forever. Price-wise, these fragrances come in 50 and 100ml, although I would rather buy the TF Ombre Leather for that (which doesn't cost much more).
The packaging is simple, and the golden bottle is, as mentioned, very attractive and makes an impression in this color. Otherwise, it's rather trashy and typical for designers, but it can work and is already somewhat cultish.
The fragrance, with this small pyramid of 3 notes, is of course not complete. However, among designers, it is modern to only specify 3-4 fragrance notes. It makes it a bit easier for the end consumer and does not overwhelm them. The focus of this fragrance is, of course, this raspberry-leather combo. For the first few hours, this scent is really very pleasant and can hold its own quite well against fragrances of this class. This fragrance was created by 3 ladies (Labbé, Blanc & Girard) in collaboration with Firmenich. The top note is beautifully soft with this raspberry and a slight freshness from fruity-citrus notes that subtly resonate. The leather sets in early and convinces with a very pleasing lightness that is not overwhelming for the designer sector. The leather also remains soft and is not just for hardcore leather fans. In the heart note, a wonderful cardamom spice comes in, which also brings a slight sensual sweetness. Along with classic lavender notes and a fresh sage note, it keeps it a bit lighter and never lets it become too heavy. The dry down becomes softer and woodier, with the leather becoming noticeably softer. A soft sweetness can also convince and, together with vetiver, provides a gentle finish. Overall, it smells quite luxurious and is somewhat special for a designer. Of course, for a user with a lot of experience in niche fragrances, it is nothing extraordinary. It does not come close to the high-end fragrances that are mentioned as similar and thrown into the room, also because it slightly drops off towards the base. But I am positively inclined towards this designer, as they do a lot right.
Performance is not bombastic, but in a very solid range. Longevity is from 8 hours, and sillage is very good for the first 1-2 hours. After that, it becomes a bit softer, but still remains active and present.
Overall, a great flanker that does not reinvent the wheel but takes a different direction for a designer. Here, Azzaro has drawn inspiration from some niche fragrances that are performing relatively well. It can work, I have already covered this theme well, and that's why I will not be purchasing this one.
