Flowers for the Aztecs
An interesting fragrance with two sides.
Side 1:
Right from the start, cardamom, pepper, and dry cocoa bring out the spice and depth, which you continue to focus on because the note is absolutely perfect. It remains like delicate dark chocolate: tart and slightly bitter.
Side 2:
Over time, a soft side also comes to the fore through floral accents. They make the fragrance a little lighter and smoother, but in the end, the fragrance always turns to cocoa and ends up dry, as described. The tuberose comes into its own, and although I'm not a big fan, it blends nicely with the dry development.
An experimental fragrance with a refined character, but I can't think of a use for it. I personally see the fragrance as more suited to the 50+ age group. For me, the price is not really in line with the fragrance experience. Nevertheless, I respect the interesting approach of enlivening cocoa with floral notes.
