Simple & Sweet

I have many fragrances - some quite expensive, a lot of cheapies. And some I like more than Rose. However, Rose is what I wore for my wedding.

It is not complex, it is not original, it is not challenging - it is beautiful. It is a fresh, pink rose, wet with morning dew, over a cushion of creamy vanilla and musk. Nothing more, nothing less. This is perhaps the most crowd pleasing rose scent I could imagine, stripped of most of the spice, powder, and soapiness that bolder and more traditional roses embrace. It's a smidge indolic, which gives it a white floral tinge and radiant warmth. It smells like the exact shade of pink on the bottle: delicate, fresh, girlish, sweet. It was the perfect bridal scent for me.

perfect simple rose fragrance with great sillage

bought this in my teen years when i wanted to experiment with rose and almond. i paired this fragrance with their almond body milk, and the combined smell was so fresh and light. as usual, it worked best after a shower and on top of a lotion. i didn't have to spray much for it to stand out and last a great time. it quickly became my signature fragrance and combo likely a great layering perfume.

Soft rosewater

A clean simple rose. A rosewater rose, but with the edges blurred and a touch of jasmine to round it out. Nothing indolic at all here; this is pretty and femme and easy to wear.nnI got the lotion specifically, to wear with some of my floral fragrances. It's perfect for that because it's not too too strong and won't detract from my fragrance. It's one of the least "bbw smelling" bbw products I've tried.

One Of Bath and Body Works' Best Scents

I have seen this written off as "boring" and "basic" and while I must admit that Rose is nothing groundbreaking, it is stunning nonetheless. The rose in this isn't the vintage "dusty" rose, but it is a bright, citrusy rose which makes this an easy-reach. I enjoy layering this with the body wash and lotion to boost the longevity of the fragrance. I've also heard this is very similar to MFK's A La Rose, which I cannot attest to, though I will try that soon. This does, however, give me similar vibes as Chance Eau Tendre EDP, which has a rose note in it that EDT does not. Very ni e, inoffensive fragrance for those who enjoy rose and at an extremely reasonable price.
