CPO# 2 Rose, Tuberose, Hardcorerose!
Perfume oils of this kind never stay with me for long, not because I don't like them, but because I have many colleagues at work from Turkish/Arabic countries. It is not uncommon that when I wear a fragrance that is customary to wear in these countries, I am literally snatched out of my hand with the statement: "That's really good", or "It reminds me of the past", "What kind of fragrance is that?", "I want that, how much does it cost?" Phew... If I then say it's a fragrance by Al Rehab directly from Saudi Arabia for ~€5, sometimes I get a smile and sometimes an astonished look, it always depends on the age of the person in question :-)

Nevertheless, I usually sell the freshly opened roll-on directly and often simply reorder.

The Arabisque is a picture-book full-blooded oriental. I honestly don't understand the poor rating. The aroma spectacle that you can look forward to from this little bottle is enormous. Admittedly, it starts off quite pungent and unsorted, but what can you expect from a concentrated perfume oil? If everything were beautiful and in harmony right from the start, it would be gone an hour later...

It starts very citrusy, with hints of spices, will it be coriander seeds here, but gradually the rose comes in? Tuberose? Oh whatever, it comes out strongly. From the middle section onwards, it reminds me strongly of Al Haramain Maze, only when it comes to the base note, Arabisque reveals more and more of a resinous, tart note, which contrasts with the more feminine Maze and makes it more wearable for men.

And here we are at the point where I have to say that I like Arabisque best, the cheerful, fruity, rosy freshness of the beginning, underlaid with the tart amber oud note. This is how the Arabisque finishes for hours and I like it better from hour to hour.

For me, a clear recommendation if you would have liked the Maze to be a little more tart, or if you like oriental rose fragrances anyway!
