Not me...!
Sitting in the departure lounge, about to return home. A sweet cloud of fragrance in the duty-free store, in the corridor, in the departure lounge. Probably on the plane too. Why do women now have to smell of synthetic vanilla wafers with synthetic caramel filling from morning to night? I reach my limits when the medical assistant has bathed in caramel at 7:30 a.m. before taking my blood (sober)... Today in the town I was visiting, a quick visit to a nice perfumery. The saleswoman waved the paper strip around the noses of two 18-year-old men: "This is the trend now: chocolate, gourmand". I turn around and leave. Back at the hotel, I quickly pack my bags and spray on a touch of Vento di Fiori BOIS 1920. Chic, tart and woody on my skin. Warm but dry. Fits. Never disappointed me. In the cab to the airport, I dabbed a drop of Notturno Fiorentino by BOIS 1920 on my pulse zone. Oh no! That smells sweet! Unfortunately, I can't help it and have to endure the sweet cloud of fragrance for the next half hour to the airport. Hmm... It smells a little more pleasant. Very pleasant, in fact. Soft, warm, precious. Not a mainstream scent. Wow! Gourmand, but no oomph, just a soft, warm, subtle, elegant shell. When it comes to vanilla, only CREED comes into question for me, but here the bourbon vanilla with tonka is extremely pleasant. Highly recommended if you want to follow the current trend but value individuality.
