The Empire strikes… uh, sniffs at Iris?
Nooo,… I should stop writing anything related to Star Wars when it comes to fragrances that seem really great and especially feminine. It's bad enough that women who wear such scents are often very enchanting but (whine whine) usually already taken, so I drastically worsen my chances by rambling about some guys swinging their staffs in far, far away galaxies (and I mean lightsabers, you perverts!), arg! But before I retreat again, grumbling and fantasizing about how such a fragrance could make a lady smell oh-so-delicious once again, I will finally get to the scent (otherwise, I would just sigh endlessly and talk even more about Star Wars and scare off even more ladies… a vicious cycle…).

*sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *waaah* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *star* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *wars* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *delicious* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *meow* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *batman* *sigh*

:DD

The scent:
The scent starts with a lovely grapefruit note, is slightly sweet, and somehow feels quite clean. The sweetness is fruity, and I can smell that it comes from the currants. It then continues with a sparkling sweetness and floral notes in the background. (Peony) roses, however, I perceive less, and I'm not so sure how magnolias smell, so I will just refer to these notes as floral. It doesn't smell stuffy, but simply beautiful, at least for now...
The clean, fresh note works well, is pleasant, and sits softly on the skin, but the scent doesn't remind me strongly of iris. I would also only describe it as slightly powdery. But that doesn't matter, as the scent, as mentioned, smells very nice. Some of the citrus notes like grapefruit fade over time, yet a sour impression always remains in the background, which smells nice and somewhat reminds me of sour candies like Ahoi Brause drops. Vanilla and sandalwood are only slightly present in the base, the scent remains soft and clean. And slightly powdery.
But: Just a few hours later, unfortunately, all the scent notes seem to fade, leaving behind an inconspicuous fragrance that simply smells floral and a bit stuffy and isn't really great anymore; I even find it quite trivial… what a shame!

Longevity and sillage:
The sillage is more average and, as always with such scents, is only perceivable up close for a short time.
The fragrance has a longevity of just over four hours, but I want to emphasize that it only smells pleasant and good for about an hour or a bit more, and the rest of the time is rather boring and, as mentioned above, even somewhat stuffy.

The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and has a large label with flower photos printed on it. It's not bad, but it looks a bit overloaded. The cap seems to be made of wood and is black, although there also seem to be gray versions. Well, I don't find it particularly outstanding, but also not really bad.

So, the scent didn't really smell strongly of iris to me; I hope I'm not mistaken here, it would be quite silly not to have recognized the iris scent… :D
But for that, the scent is beautifully clean at the beginning, slightly powdery, or at least soft with a sour-sweet background, while also smelling refreshingly sparkling. However, you have to reapply the scent after less than an hour if you want to maintain this lovely fragrance, as it otherwise transitions into a trivial and stuffy floral scent that is neither good nor bad, but simply smells boring and meaningless. And that is also the biggest weakness of this fragrance.

However, if you regularly reapply it at short intervals, it is very suitable to use as a relaxing scent on warm days, as it will be only moderately perceivable to others.

Still a shame… because I expected more…

Unfortunately, it has nothing imperial about it, but rather a harsh, cleaning-product-like freshness base. Very, very unpleasant. Plus, no iris at all.

That sounds harsher than intended:
Smells like an all-purpose cleaner (General or Ajax) - floral, citrusy, and cleaning product-like.

Floral-fresh, like a garden on a sunny June morning. Subtle scent! Fruity fizzy candy? Yes, a little bit of that!
