Velvet water

But your soul is warmed like snowflakes on your skin ... this is Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours!

Actually, it's not my baggage pattern at all.
Rose is difficult especially in connection with Patchouli. Until recently I didn't like unsüß at all but this scent didn't let me go anymore after the test.
So Sweetsmell, I said to myself... out of the baggedemagedöns and into the fragrance cabinet with the bottle!
I don't regret hab´s ;)

To the fragrance:
Eau de Velours starts peppery with citric sounds.
But by the time you pronounce bergamot, the rose will come along. This rose is beautiful even for me. It is interspersed with plum sprinkles and underpainted with jasmine. Slightly spicy wird´s in the course. Which spices are supposed to be in it, however, my nose fails.
In the base geht´s with soft leather and lots of patchouli.
Musk also joins it. It's not listed, but I can smell it. It gives the fragrance a pleasant, warm mood.
Eau de Velours wears like velvet on the skin and is absolutely unsweet!
A fragrance for autumn/winter and the cooler spring days.
The shelf life is a good 8 hours plus and the Sillage is not room-filling but well perceptible the first few hours, after that I am discreetly surrounded by a pink patchouli musk cloud.
I find Eau de Velours very effective - stylish - feminine!
The bottle with its leather bow is very pretty and valuable. The bottle colour matches the fragrance.

Conclusion:
Noble leather, Patch & ne red Rose - velvety soft with plum sprinkles.
Decent- unsweet - effective!
Velvet water fits ... fine so :)

Girls... you really have to test it... it's so beautiful! :)

The Night Watch

Tonight the girlfriend threw me out of the woods because she has sorrows.

Yes, that's when dark thoughts plague you the most.

But I don't have a rifle - but muffins, ziggis and eau de velours.
Although I chew on a hard kitchen bench, the scent puts me in a soft suede armchair - comfortable and therapeutic.
Well - where does the shoe pinch ?

The pink white rose bouquet smells even more intense at night and lets your thoughts flow.
I can think of a lot of advice.
The soft patchouli provides depth - and the plum is comfortingly plum-soft.
I can listen attentively and sympathize.

Velours creates closeness - and the ability to get involved.

We both found sleep after all

Bordeaux Red Velvet Dream

I'm totally into leather scents, have a few in my collection. Also the Ur-Bottega Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum, which is one of my favorites.
I had heard about Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours, it's supposed to be even more velvety and smooth. So I tried to get a sample of it, which I eventually succeeded.
What can I say, he is a Bordeaux red velvet dream. Insanely beautiful suede scent.
So wonderfully creamy, fine suedey skin and soul soothing.
He starts immediately with a wonderful leather note and a light pepper note which is absolutely unobtrusive, but well perceived, very delicately resonates there also something citrus, but which hardly falls into the weight.
Directly with the top note comes the heart note with a dry, unsweet plum spice trunk and a lush bouquet of dreamy dark red roses and small, delicate jasmine flowers.
Almost immediately after that, I'm in seventh "leather" heaven. I've never smelled such soft, delicate suede in a fragrance. It's a dream, silky, soft, creamy, powdery, roughened but not rough but like a suede skirt that has been worn forever and well cared for.
He nestles so velvety, becomes sometime skin close and flatters my soul.

The combination of unsweet fruit, jasmine and rose with leather and patchouli is here absolutely brilliantly succeeded and absolutely round and coherent.
Surely this fragrance will not please every woman, he is not sweet, he is not pleasing, he has rough edges and is concise.
For me, this is a great office fragrance. It exudes power, confidence and assertiveness without ever being intrusive or commanding.
I almost like it better than the original Bottega. The big problem - he's discontinued....
It's not like I didn't know that before, but I didn't know I'd like it so much.
Good that I could still get hold of a bottle. ❤️
The Bottega bottles please me throughout quite well, this one is a little dream. Not just the bottle, but the velvet water too.

I've been testing this fragrance for some time now and as so often I felt it biting, annoying and intrusive when first sprayed on, but still with a certain something. Now that it happened to me not only once that I sniffed my wrist in bed in the evening and could hardly fall asleep before ecstasy, I have to take it today as 75 ml. Bottle, especially since I have learned that it is already no longer produced.

On my skin the prelude is very leathery and completely unpleasant, it has big edges, but nevertheless a softness behind the big chain rattle can already be guessed, which fights itself in the course of time more and more into the foreground and wins the upper hand after some time.
When the time finally comes, I am surrounded by an absolutely elegant warm velvety fragrance that is hard to beat in class.
Clearly a fragrance to which you have to give plenty of time to unfold, but for which you can take a pretty big reward.

I almost hope not to miss him too much when he won't be available any more soon.

Pink Leather - A light, floral leather fragrance

I personally find leathery scents often a bit difficult, but this one almost nestles in.
The rose note is very fine, really pleasant floral and clean.
However, it does not seem too artificial.
Jasmine rounds off the whole thing a bit and has been inserted only discreetly.
The listed plum note I could not smell, which I personally find good, because I sometimes have problems with plum notes.
As particularly spicy I have not felt the fragrance, for me rose and leather are the focus.
This makes for an interesting contrast.
Finally, patchouli keeps all the fragrance notes together. However, the patchouli note here is only minimally earthy, it turned out rather dry and relatively clean.
For me, this is a very well turned out rosy leather fragrance that is really wearable and suitable for everyday use.
Not everyone will like him very much, but he also does not tick.
Basically, it is rather a gentle fragrance that is of good quality. The durability and also the whole performance I find quite convincing.
Unfortunately, he is only rarely to be found.
