Affordable and Good
A fragrance description can never be objective, as the perception of a scent is very subjective. What smells intoxicating to one person may be unbearable to another. I always find it difficult to describe scents; others have more talent in that area.
I like the fragrance. My husband does not. It is slightly bitter right after spraying, the ABSOLUTE MAN. Is that due to the grapefruit?
This bitterness does not last long and transitions into a mix of delicate sweetness and predominant spiciness. The sweetness is so light that I should not really call it sweetness. It seems to serve more as a rounding off, as a tamer of the spiciness. I cannot pick out a single fragrance component.
ABSOLUTE MAN is a successful interplay of all fragrance notes. The longevity of the scent also convinces me. After five hours, I can still faintly perceive it on my forearm, where I had sprayed it. In my opinion, ABSOLUTE MAN also works well as a unisex fragrance.

Vodka-E minus Vodka minus Energy
... not much is left. It would be easy to say: it was obvious, what did you expect at this price, it’s just Bruno Banani, etc. But to be honest, I had even hoped for a little something - the appearance reminiscent of the good original BB-Man and an interesting energy drink accord - that could maybe be a surprise, and after all, a new BB fragrance doesn’t come to drugstores that often. Oh how I was mistaken, my expectations were driven unceremoniously into the synthetic ground of truth. No mercy!

It starts absolutely uninspiring. I expected a knockout - but there’s no trace of energy, rather paralyzing synthetic notes and shaking my head. A creamy citrus note that could easily come from an Axe deodorant. No one should complain about Invictus anymore. The scent reminds me of the increasingly popular and often smelled cream perfumes - floral undertones on a vanilla-sweet milk skin cream that also somewhat resembles skin itself. Here are just a few examples: 1000 miglia, Jil Sander Man, the Herren Codes, or the best representative, Cipresso di Toscana. Only Absolute Man is worse than all, combining this wannabe skin accord with a plastic, rubber, and gummy bear attack that even sweet lovers shudder at due to its unnatural nature. Towards the end, it definitely becomes nicer, but that’s the case for 90% of all fragrances for me. It even becomes a bit woody and dimmer, saving itself from a total debacle.

Bottle: not bad, and the Mc-Fit generation will surely be attracted to it.
Sillage: sweet, sticky, gummy bear-like - and yet quite close to the skin.
Longevity: at least it doesn’t go down the drain - a solid 5-6 hours.

One of the worst Bruno Banani works under an already more than damaged image. Stay away, at most apply it for a sobering test - otherwise, please invest the 13€ in a bouquet for your loved one on Friday. Or in a lunch. Or for a tanning session. Or a good Blu-ray. All better investments than this wannabe trendsetter. You can write a lot about the fragrance pyramid... In the end, there’s not even hot air coming out of this one!

Oops, the First One?
Today I received a sample of "Absolute Man." Of course, I tested it immediately, even before showering, just in case.
Clearly, it is a scent that does not interest me personally at all.
Bruno Banani fragrances were the cult brand among the teenagers I supervised as a social pedagogue in a school about 10 years ago, along with Diesel clothes, and those dreadful baggy pants that always slipped down to the boys' behinds while playing billiards and foosball, much to the delight of others and especially the girls: "Look, Kevin wore those briefs last week!" Teen boy - sometimes more, sometimes less - butt décolleté. And then the rather loveless chatter: "Look, he’s wearing a tiger thong, yellow in front and striped in the back!" That’s the association I have with the name: Bruno Banani. I didn’t smell any of it back then, as the girls drowned everything out with their various vanilla scents and hairsprays.
So what do I smell now with "Absolute Man"?
Initially, there’s a somewhat synthetic but quite bearable citrus scent, too sweet for my taste for a men’s fragrance. As an overture, it feels unisex to me at first.
Then various phases of sweet, tobacco-like, and synthetic notes follow. The sweetness intensifies, making it too much for me. It doesn’t smell even remotely natural with any molecule. However, I initially find the scent of "Absolute Man" not unbearable or intolerable.
Then "Absolute Man" turns metallic; it must be the tin can from the energy drink. And then the scent becomes slightly sweaty. This remains along with this sweet-metallic scent, with a distinct Ambroxan note overlaying it.
So the scent stays. Fortunately, "AM" does not have a far-reaching sillage.
Now I imagine the scent on a man. No, I wouldn’t like it. Too sweet, too artificial, too much Ambroxan, and unfortunately also a bit animalistic-sweaty. Smelling it this way, AM is indeed "absolutely man."
The scent doesn’t last long; it even becomes somewhat resinous-woody in the dry down, at least thus actually more of a perfume.
What were such scents like "Old Spice" and "Tabac" compared to this, robust. Respected by others.
This is really a scent for young men, I think! And then their peer group should decide whether it’s trendy, cool, "decent," as I heard it’s called in some areas now.
However, I can only imagine this smell in a messy young man's room, along with stinky socks and worn clothes lying around everywhere, food leftovers, empty cans of various soft drinks, and the typical boy smell quite disgusting, when I remember my son's teenage years.
But I really cannot imagine this scent on an adult man, no matter how hard I try.

Freshness that costs nothing
When I saw the fragrance in the store, I naturally had to try it right away. For the price, it didn't even require a test spray, so I took it home immediately. Disappointment? No! Excitement? Not really! However, I must say that the positive aspect convinced me more than the negative sides.

Upon application, you immediately notice that this scent is not subtle or discreet. The sweetness hits you right away. Perhaps a bit too strong. One spray too many could already trigger a headache. However, in a reasonable, lesser dosage, I must say, the scent is bearable. I didn't notice the energy drink effect at all until I read about it. It was really the sweetness that comes at you immediately. The name "Absolut Man" is quite inappropriate for this fragrance. More like "Absolut Sweets - Sport Edition." Yes, it does come off a bit sporty, probably due to the overdosed citrus note.

At least it is fitting for this sunny weather. However, please use it only in everyday situations. This perfume is not suitable for evenings, dates, or other events. If you have no occasion, a few sprays are fine, but not more. You can definitely smell the "10€ perfume" in it. It also reminds me more of an Axe/Gammon aftershave than an Eau de Toilette.

All in all, I must say it is one of the better 10€ fragrances as it smells very fresh and spring-like. We will certainly be smelling it more often on sporty young people in the coming months, but the "hype" won't last long, and even the teens will quickly get tired of it.

At least the scent lasts a long time (at least for me), with a decent duration of 6 hours.

Like a Tacky One Million
Unfortunately, this is not a good Bruno Banani fragrance for me. It smells very synthetic, reminiscent of some fruits, most closely blood orange, sharp, and has a lot in common with Paco Rabanne's One Million. However, the leather note is missing here, and what remains is a very flat chewing gum scent that I do not want to smell on my arm.

a warm and pleasant embrace of amber and spicy notes but not so longlasting. Particular the bottle. Affordable price for a 40ml one size

Perfect for everyday use or just to put something on to smell good. Very simple but it gets the job done. Cheapie but goodie.

It was super fun, I'm still totally buzzed today! Just: my energy drink tastes kind of weird. And what do I actually smell like??

Smells fresh and fruity. It's a typical drugstore scent, great for teenagers but nothing special.

Red Bull from the bottle. Synthetic, fresh.. Weak longevity and probably more for the younger generation.

Tangerine fruity, fresh start. Then shifts from spicy-sweet to sweet-spicy with a subtle woody finish. Spring scent.

I have the deodorant. Fresh, dynamic, fruity. Nice scent but has longevity issues. In this price range, it's especially suitable for young people.

Actually very bad. Smells like a sweet, synthetic off-note. Only it's not just an off-note, but the entire perfume.
