To have or not to have...EDT or EDP
I bought the eau de parfum with the intention of getting a stronger and longer-lasting scent, as the longevity of the eau de toilette is poor.
From the scent profile:
Very light lavender, light basil, and very weak cumin, a lot of clove, coffee, tonka bean, spiciness, creaminess, a certain sweetness but also a certain freshness... practically like the EDT, just a little better balanced, stronger, and a bit sweeter.
It definitely appears more stable and rounded in the interplay of the ingredients.
The EDT is a tiny bit more synthetic, a little fresher, a little cheaper, and a little more focused on clove, while the EDP has a bit more coffee and tonka bean for me.
H/S has improved in comparison from EDT to EDP.
You get about 1 hour of sillage added and 1 1/2 to 2 hours of longevity.
While the EDT already shows the vanilla in the base after 3 hours, you can still detect a heart note in the EDP.
It is not necessarily an eau de parfum concentration, rather a strong eau de toilette with good longevity, which you would definitely like to have, although you can't really complain about the price.
You can just about get through a workday with it.
After 5 hours, it is only detectable very close up.
I really like Bruno Banani Man Eau de Toilette and it has been with me for over 12 years... I like this one just as much, as there is really hardly any difference.
If you have one, you don't need the other, although I would recommend the EDP more, especially because it has been modernized and improved a bit.
Scent good, H/S quite good, price top... can be picked up during your DM visit.
I will probably switch to this from now on.
