Classy Scent!!

A great scent for the money.

Not just for the money, no:
it IS a wonderful fragrance that reminds me a bit of La Male (which I love dearly!)

Warm, slightly woody, slightly oriental.

Not too heavy.

With "About Man," my standard everyday scent.
Even rather unobtrusive fragrances have their purpose...

P.S. I have sorted out this BB as well, maybe I have become a fragrance snob...still, scents like this have their purpose when you simply want to smell pleasant to most noses, with this one you don't stand out and it’s not too overpowering. I find it rather boring now.

I can't believe this is still being sold - Tztztztz

A scent that I absolutely hate: a copy of what feels like a thousand and one men's grooming products. The epitome of cheapness, not to mention: it stinks to me. Yes, it always reminds me of the locker room after gym class and teenagers with their aerosol cans, whose dosage they can't control...
It has nothing to do with oriental, as already noted here. No, there’s something aquatic mixed in, or to put it another way: it stinks to me. Unfortunately, it has a mediocre to good longevity and the sillage is better than one might expect. At least this stuff doesn't block my nose - possibly because it always wants to warn me that it stinks to me - I repeat myself? Conclusion: I'd rather smell like sweat than this...

Budget Fragrance with Potential

One thing upfront: I bought 30ml for 9.90 euros without testing it beforehand, just picked it up as a "bycatch." I am very positively surprised!

Okay, when a company from Mittelbach near Chemnitz chooses the name "Bruno BANANI" for its men's underwear line, that's already bold but waaaay far from Chanel, Dior, and the like.

But: Not everything that comes from Germany and is cheap is bad.

Long story short: I think the fragrance is great. It fits in the realm of "JOOP! Homme" and "Le Male" and is very warm, but not too sweet.

The grapefruit and mandarin hold back discreetly and let the anise and bergamot take center stage. Jasmine, cedar, amber, musk, sandalwood, and vetiver create a solid, pleasant foundation.

My conclusion: Enjoyed in moderation, it's a great office scent, suitable for everyday wear and "a little high dosed" also offers something warm and sensual for the evening.

(And just between us two - from writer to reader - the ladies really do react to the fragrance! When asked "WOW, what fragrance is that?" the response is casually "Pure Man by Bruno Banani. I also wear the matching underwear, would you like to see?" or just very briefly "do you like big bananas?" God forbid, that was a joke!)

Day Fragrance :)

I think this perfume is the best from the house of Banani.
At least the best of the men's perfumes.
I just went to Douglas and grabbed a few of those cards and sprayed a different men's scent from Banani on each one...
After waiting for 1 hour and letting it develop, yes... the scent performs by far the best and I can really only recommend it.
In its price range, truly one of the best!
You get exactly WHAT you expect and want to have.
Go ahead and buy it.
But please: Don't be surprised if, after 8 hours in the club, you don't perceive it as strongly as at the beginning :P

Cheap but interesting...

First of all: I don’t own this fragrance and would never wear it. I'm almost exclusively into oriental notes.
However, what I found really interesting about this scent is when smokers wear it. This fragrance totally harmonizes with the smell of cigarette smoke that smokers have.
I really thought it was a hit when I smelled this on a young salesman in a department store who was assisting me with my shirt purchase. I just had to ask him what he was wearing, and the fact that he was a smoker was obvious.

So: really interesting!
