Goddess Reimagined: An Unexpected Delight
I’ve just received a small sample, and to be perfectly honest, my expectations were low. I never quite understood the hype surrounding the original fragrance, which to me has always felt rather plain and overly sweet.

And yet… this flanker managed to surprise me in the best way. The vanilla here is sumptuous - creamy, rounded - with an almost liqueurous elegance that instantly brought to mind the texture of Baileys (and I stress the texture, not the scent). Raspberry weaves through it vividly, giving shape to a pairing that feels both harmonious and genuinely pleasing. In the drydown, a subtle suede undertone emerges, though what lingers most is still that enveloping vanilla entwined with raspberry.

To my nose, this stands as the most captivating interpretation of Goddess to date. Well worth experiencing with an open mind.

Maybe my nose is broken
At first this just seems like a much sweeter version of the OG. Just way more vanilla & fruity vibes than anything else. I liked it! And then I carried on walking around the shop, letting it dry down, and I noticed it started smelling like nail polish or nail polish remover? Not like acetone but the fragrance they put in it. Or maybe it’s hairspray, I don’t know. There’s just something in the dry down that reminds me of other generic cosmetic fragrance and it really surprised me

Dries down floral.
Pure sophistication. It opens strong with the leather, hints of vanilla, but dries down to more of a lavender than anything else.. After two hours, the leather-scent comes back. I actually really like this one, and it suits me. The original smells amazing, but unfortunately it was not good on my skin, so I was left with the impression that I don't like it. Today I got a sample of this new goddess parfum, and I was skeptic, but curious still. Both me and my husband thought it smelled really great and now I'm thinking to buy a 30ml of it at least. But, it strikes me as a bit strange that the bottledesign and colour of the perfume is all gold and warm. When I think of lavender, I think pastel purple, but then again, the leather is quite prominent.

Goddess with two faces
This fragrance opens with a sensual, creamy vanilla that unfolds beautifully from the very first moments—soft, enveloping, and almost hypnotic in its gentle radiance. The vanilla remains present throughout, but in a subtle, understated way that feels elegant rather than overpowering. As the scent develops, the composition gradually reveals a refined leathery base, adding depth, contrast, and an unexpected sophistication. The result is a perfume with a dual nature: tender and luminous at first, then confident and shadowed, like a goddess with two faces.

Raspberry & Leather - how beautiful do you want to be?
I have to honestly say, I love Burberry Goddess extremely! From the very first spray back then, it was clear, it suits me! Warm, soft, feminine.
In the evening, I really like to wear the Intense version.
And that's why I was so incredibly excited when I heard that a new version is coming to the market. I jumped off the sofa in the evening and cheered. My husband sat next to me completely perplexed.
But I have to say, I was very skeptical when I read the fragrance notes. Raspberry and leather? Isn't that somehow too much?

Spoiler: after the first spray, I thought to myself, yes baby - give me more!

But let's start from the beginning:
The first spray, wow. Raspberry. Juicy, fruity, and fresh. I like it. Elegant and really beautifully balanced. Not overly sweet and sticky. (Fortunately) no childish sweetness, but perfectly dosed. Harmoniously balanced. Berry-like, noble, and liqueur-like.

Then comes the Goddess EdP DNA, soft, creamy, as usual. But less sweet:
Fresh lavender, very herbal, slightly spicy. A lot of character. Simply special - I like it. Almost magical, like a walk through a lavender field in the evening. Here, lavender does not stand for inner peace, but for feminine strength. Very dominant and less soft.

The vanilla, darker than usual, richer, deeper. But still slightly creamy and not intrusive. No headache - nausea - scented candle - vanilla.
Dark and elegant like a vanilla pod soaked in cognac. Barely sweet.

And then the leather comes through!
A smooth, soft, creamy leather. Like when you stroke a suede handbag. This makes the scent very exciting and grown-up.

Wow, folks - I'm telling you. I'm not a big raspberry leather fan. But! In this case, I'm just blown away. The Goddess DNA becomes so extremely complex, noble, high-quality.
Deep and sensual. Almost unisex.

I love this contrast. Fruity, our beloved goddess DNA, and then this velvety leather.
The raspberry brings that bright smile at the beginning - but then the leather lays over it and the scent changes. If the scent could talk, it would say: I'm not just sweet - I know exactly what I want. ;-)

And now let's be honest, compared to the Goddess EdP and the Intense version.

EdP:
The classic scent is for me feminine, soft, and creamy. Vanilla meets lavender. I wear it constantly and love it.

Intense:
Here it gets warmer, deeper, and more drama baby. The vanilla is brighter but even more present, and the lavender is more herbal. Perfect for evenings or going out.
(But I know, opinions are divided here. But I also find this very beautiful and something different.)

Goddess perfume (new variant)
Compared to the other two, I would say it is very herbaceous, unisex, hardly sweet, very herbal.

Regarding longevity, I was really positively surprised, as the scent lasts for me 6-8 hours. No scent cloud, you don't pull the scent behind you for kilometers. But still present and with me. No boom - here I am! But rather a statement - I know what I want, I know who I am.

The only thing I might criticize - the raspberry is unfortunately almost gone in the drydown. I would have liked it to stay.

Conclusion:
I really love all three scents. And all three scents are so different. But that's a good thing, because who needs three similar ones?
The classic is definitely my daily companion and will remain so.
The intense version is my power move, or when I just feel like something different. But only very subtly dosed.
And the new version - my secret weapon when I want to leave a lasting impression. In summer and everyday life, it might be too much for me, but in autumn and winter, and in the evening, it will definitely be my secret weapon to turn a few heads. (Oops, I'm married, I just realized.) But girls, you know what I mean.

I'm glad that all three scents are so different; for me, each scent has its right to exist, and I'm just happy with the new variant.

Solid designer perfume. If Intense is for autumn, Parfum is the winter flanker. Office friendly w/a bit of personality.

I didn't like the original Burberry Goddess, but this one I actually quite like!! More sophisticated with the leather and lavender. Beautiful scent.

Mind blowing opening of og is gone (only good thing in it), it’s replaced with very synthetic kind of Raspberry which feels rubbery.

This smells "mature". Very sweet and artificial. Quite a boring flanker. OG is better.

It would be perfect for if the lavender wasn't so strong.
EDIT- Changed my mind after testing more times. I do enjoy it!

Sampling it. I liked more than I expected but agree that the suede could be stronger, would make it more interesting (but maybe less comercial).

Fruity-soapy. Dry down fruity, yet dark vanilla. Like it better than OG & intense. Suede could be stronger though.

Very unbalanced; the lavender too penetrating, the vanilla sickly like caramel. I find this combo is much better done in Mon Guerlain.
