Today Eternity for Women Air arrived, suitably with bright sunshine and clear blue sky. Husband says Eternity for Women Air smells great. A unisex candidate for me. In the opening I perceive a pink grapefruit, citric but a little sweetness through the pear, and then these typical mineral ozonic notes. You can immediately feel the surf of the sea at your feet. Just right for hot summer days. Like a gin and tonic to spray on. But in the DD you realize why the perfume is called for Woman. I notice the peony, ambergris intensifies the feeling of being by the sea. Definitely going on vacation with me.

Eternity by the sea

Risked it as a blind buy at a bargain price... was already skeptical because many wrote that Eternity Air didn't have much to do with Eternity (and I've loved the notes of Eternity for women for 20 years!).
Just sprayed it and I'm practically "high" - I mean "on the air", of course! The first thing that hits me is a light citric note (probably grapefruit, I would have classified it as more lemony), at the same time a fresh note that immediately transports me to the sea. And then some of my beloved Eternity notes follow subliminally! I definitely recognize the Eternity, albeit in a soft, toned-down form - not powdery and without iris, jasmine and patchouli. I can't smell pear at all, but lily of the valley, a slightly rosy note and some amber and cedar. And still the fresh sea breeze.
What the.... Heaven!!! For me, this is the perfect fresh summer version of the Eternity classic.
Quasi Eternity in "light" paired with D&G Light Blue and Cool Water - fresh, slightly tart and yet feminine floral & an Eternity! What a great combination that is please! And the longevity is really above average for me - even after 8 hours it still smells wonderful.
I'm actually less of an aquatic scent person, but I'm so excited about this blend that I'm already thinking about stocking up on it again!
