Dark transparent heaviness
The first thing you can notice is an intense and strong sweetish note, with a very strong, refreshing greenish acidic note, which is due to the rhubarb.
At the same time the rhubarb is accompanied by another sweetish nuance, which hides a slight citric orange tone and I suspected the use of bergamot and orange, instead of sweetie.
These two notes are enveloped by a fine aromatic, subtly spicy nuance which, in my opinion, ensures that the top note, despite its sweetness, has something lively and comes from pepper.
A little later, the rhubarb is much more dimmed and only slightly perceptible and acquires an incredibly intense sweetish, mystical reddish-brown woody note, which exudes a very beautiful lacquer-like, very delicate medicinal touch and gives the fragrance a wonderful dark heaviness and I suspected oud instead of cypriol.
The cypriol is underlined by another woody note, which carries a slight incense-like tone and appears very dense and I imagined the use of cedar wood and incense instead of cedar leaf.
The cypriol and the cedar leaf are enveloped in a slightly synthetic nuance, which at the same time gives the fragrance something light and even transparent and I thought it was possible to use Iso-E-Super instead of cashmeran.
In the last 4 hours, a very nice balsamic and spicy note is added in very gradual strokes, which gives the fragrance a pleasant smoothness and comes from black amber
At the same time, the amber is underlined by a light, peppery, tart nuance of the vetiver and musk I suspect, which provides a fine, smooth masculinity and my research has shown that the above-mentioned scent perception could very well be due to the Gurjun balm, but unfortunately this scent was unknown to me until today.
These two notes are enveloped by a slight sweetish rosy note, which brings a delicate woody and smoky tone and provides a deep finish, thanks to the guaiac wood.
In total the fragrance lasts 9 hours on my skin
The Sillage is designed to be very clearly perceptible 1.5 meters in the first hour and retains a very distinct full arm length for 3 hours, before it minimizes in quiet steps until the fragrance has died down.
