Mysterious

A bit mysterious perfume this Obssesed Intense. I tried to figure out the notes without success, it's kind of ambery/woody with a touch of orange. By the last I mean that it reminds me of something similar to orange... but without it being orange. It must be the combination of rhubarb with other notes, or that is the explanation I have made myself.

I expected more projection from him but no, I see him as more of a personal bubble. What it does have is good permanence on the skin, surpassing many current watered-down perfumes. The aroma can be intense if you are used to fresh or sweet things... for me it is simply different and with a mysterious air.

This is one of those fragrances that until you try it, it is very difficult to get an idea of where it is going... so if you have the opportunity to try it, I recommend that you do... but never pay crazy prices for it, you don't have to feed the speculators!

Dark Transparent Heaviness

At first, one can perceive an intense and powerful sweet note that brings with it a decidedly strong, refreshingly greenish sour note, thanks to the rhubarb.

At the same time, the rhubarb is accompanied by another sweet nuance that hides a slight citrus-tinged orange tone, and I suspect the use of bergamot and orange, instead of sweetie.

These two notes are enveloped by a fine aromatic, subtly spicy nuance that, in my opinion, ensures that the top note retains some liveliness despite its sweetness and originates from the pepper.

A little later, the rhubarb is considerably dimmed and only slightly perceptible, taking on an incredibly intense sweet, mystically appearing reddish-brown woody note that exudes a very nice lacquer-like, delicate medicinal touch, giving the fragrance a wonderful dark heaviness, and I suspected oud, instead of cypriol.

The cypriol is underscored by another woody note that carries a slight incense-like tone and appears very dense, and I imagined the use of cedarwood and incense, instead of cedar leaf.

The cypriol and cedar leaf are enveloped by a slightly synthetic-seeming nuance that simultaneously imparts a light, almost transparent radiance to the fragrance, and I considered the use of Iso-E-Super, instead of cashmeran, to be possible.

In the last 4 hours, a very nice balsamic spicy note gradually joins in, giving the fragrance a pleasant snugness and originating from the black amber.

At the same time, the amber is underscored by a bright, peppery, bitter nuance, which I suspect to be vetiver and musk, providing a fine smooth masculinity, and my research has shown that the aforementioned scent perception could indeed stem from gurjun balsam, although this scent note has unfortunately been unknown to me until today.

These two notes are enveloped by a light sweet-tinged rosy note that brings a delicate woody smoky tone and provides a deep finish, thanks to the guaiac wood.

Overall, the fragrance lasts 9 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed to be very noticeably 1.5 meters in the first hour and maintains a very clear whole arm's length for 3 hours, before gradually minimizing until the fragrance's conclusion.
