Sophisticated office fragrance
I like beige, pink and white bottles. I also like fragrances like J'adore Eau de Parfum and the like - on the test strip and on a good friend, for example. But unfortunately often not on me because they a) either contain vanilla as a note (bähbähbäh) or b) turn terribly sweet on my darn skin.
Yet these discreetly elegant, minimally floral creations, which almost resemble expensive body lotions, are sooo beautiful. They don't have to be beasts, I don't want to give my office colleague in the small 2-person office a headache with them and they don't have to be sexy in this context either. I'm looking for Grace Kelly with a beige blazer and white blouse for the office.
i've been wearing Eternity Eau de Parfum since the 90s and like it a lot, especially in summer, but it's a bit greener and fresher. Eau Fresh has this pink creaminess that makes it a µ more feminine and elegant. But it still remains fresh and sporty. As I said, more office than candlelit dinner.
Pear is non-existent on my skin, in general I almost don't notice the top note, the flowers take over almost immediately, but remain moderate. The silage is also moderate but that's okay, who wants to walk through the corridors like a scented comet?
Longevity I find for an EdT with about 3-4h (on clothes better!) afterwards close to the body even longer In small rooms or in the first hour it is still perceptible for the environment but just discreet. It immediately elicited a "mhh your body lotion smells great" from my aforementioned office roommate.
In terms of price, I think the Calvin Klein fragrances are great. I don't have to pay >80€ for 50ml out of principle in the mistaken assumption that this is the only way to find something olfactorily acceptable on the shelf.
I won't say much about the flacon, they won't win any beauty awards, but they're not ugly either, simple and uniform and somehow fit in with the unexcited basic theme (and hey, they save space!)
Eau Fresh is now my all-purpose weapon for daytime, only in very warm temperatures it can be more citric, then even that gets too flowery/creamy for me. But spring/autumn/winter (in NRW that's a continuous temperature anyway) is great.
