Queen of Hearts
Every now and then, I check the Fragonard website, and this fragrance caught my eye. A scent with this name, and from Fragonard, certainly deserves my attention. No one has it, no one knows it, so I bought it blind. What else could I do?
What a stroke of luck that La Vie est Belle also drew my attention this winter. This fragrance is very similar to it. It is a bit creamier and softer, but the components are quite alike.
It starts off very fruity, sugary, sweet, and has a bright, fresh note. Orange blossom combined with intense, sweet rose gives the heart of the fragrance a strong and intense expression.
Musk and the vanillic benzoin lend a gourmand touch to the scent.
I believe the fragrance is only available in the perfume version in the brass bottle, which is probably more of a brass-coated aluminum bottle. But it's very practical for carrying, as the bottle is not heavy. Additionally, the contents are light-protected, which is also an advantage.
The scent is very beautiful, intense, and long-lasting. But someone else had the idea first.
Fragonard had some plates as a free gift again, and I took that as an opportunity for my blind order. The package was with me again within 3 days. I am satisfied with this fragrance; it is great, not worse than La Vie est Belle. It's just a copy for me. That's why it gets 90 instead of 100%.
But that is the only reason I can't give it 100%.
I ordered it a week ago, and now it seems to have disappeared from the homepage again. It only appeared there at the end of 2014.
