the way to the Pavilion of Fragrances
These "tea or garden pavilions" are often located in particularly impressive or very enchanted places of gardens and parks.
The one in which we are allowed to be guests by "Fragonard de Fragonard" stands in a somewhat secluded corner of a large, somewhat overgrown garden.
The way there alone is a pure joy during the friendly seasons.
In spring, when nature awakens again and the first flowers and leaf buds appear, new wonders can be experienced every day.
Autumn, with its "golden October", is a time for gradual farewells and, as a consolation, the most beautiful shades of red, brown and gold are once again being revealed.
But it is the summer that Fragonard takes us to; a summer garden and a summer scent: laid out and composed without frills, without fashion trends - simply fragrant!
The top note alone, with the almost expected bergamot, mandarin and petigraine aromas, is already warm and spicy with the slightly resinous addition of galbanum.
This does not create the usual bizzelnde freshness; the prelude becomes fuller, rounder and more supple.
The sometimes existing corners and edges of citrus scents are polished a little bit here and that does very well.
The flower arrangement that follows was put together almost seasonally. Except for the spicy-floral hyacinth, summer really lets all these beauties blossom at the same time.
Lily and jasmine represent the classics of such feminine floral scents; the delicate orange blossom flatters the senses and settles there.
The way to the garden pavilion is lined by a straight-lined summery scented fabric and leads to the climax: generous honeysuckle tendrils decorate our pavilion; the abundance of flowers cleans and the scent is as unspoilt as it is intoxicating!
For friends of this peasant child "Fragonard de Fragonard" is a real delight!
Because here Geißblatt is not alone, as he appears in Yves Rocher's "Chèvrefeuille", still beloved by us (and now also completely new again).
Here, this flower child is surrounded by his summerly companions and all dance together harmoniously and a little exuberantly in a fragrant vortex.
Bright wood aroma captures this overconfidence in fragrance, but leaves the reins loose so that this summer captured in the bottle can continue to unfold freely: a wise decision!
Amber and musk doses are skillfully dosed to round off this thoroughly sympathetic creation without unnecessarily weighing it down.
To stick with the picture of my introduction: with "Fragonard de Fragonard" I discover a place in a flowering summer garden, where I can stay long and relaxed!
For many hours this fragrance remains a charming companion for me: unobtrusive and yet present.
Like many fragrances of this brand, which I got to know, it enriches my fragrance life positively.
Quite wrongly, they lead an almost inconspicuous existence on the great fragrance stage. They enchant by their natural and uncomplicated nature and are just like good friends.
They are not as "simply knitted" as they seem, but they are beautiful and it is always a pleasure to meet a well-known or unknown fragrance creature of this brand So also "Fragonard de Fragonard" is a friend, whose acquaintance I would not have renounced gladly.
You're welcome!
