1872 times you can beat up summer
i don't know about others , but if you wake me up in the crack of dawn and ask me what is my all time favourite summer fragrance ,my answer would come in a second: Clive Christian's 1872 for women.I am not a very big fan of citruses,i don't eat them,i don't drink them,i don't spray them too much, but there are some scents, not more than 5 or 6 tops that are truly good. And of course expensive, cause it all comes with a price.1872 is in my humble opinion the perfume that has it all. The quality is literally the best, the longevity great, the projection medium, but the smell, the smell is royal. The blend is magical, bringing together some of the most precious and expensive flowers, citruses and fruits in a magistral concoction that not only makes the wearer feel amazing, but also those around ,a real compliment getter.
Now the question that probably pops up in any sane brain is this: Does it worth the price??? I am not an influencer, nor a trendsetter. I do not have a business in selling fragrances nor do i have any gain by praising any brand. So if i say YES,this my friends worths every penny, you should believe me. I am totally honest when i m saying i need a backup bottle like yesterday.

Men don’t overlook this versatile citrus
Something which never was my style, a scent profile which I was thinking to be totally redundant and something which I wouldn’t enjoy.

One year ago, after loving so many potent and very unique perfumes I began to crave more gentle and refined scents as well and I got obsessed with fragrances where citruses play an important role. I thought that this would never happen! Until today I haven’t found many clearly citrusy scents that please me but this one, Burlington 1819 , Ultima Storia and Parade Eau de Parfum have won my heart and respect.

This beautiful, classy, sophisticated scent is a mix of citruses and flowers in a woody base with white musk and a hint of Oakmoss. Some fruits balance the sharpness of citruses. It’s clean and fresh yet soft and gentle. The blend is complex and harmonious. I think I will match this scent with a totally white outfit - pure white lace top, blazer and loose formal pants. That mix is utterly luxurious. I have worn this at the gym as well, it works well there.

I’m going to comment following facts which are * From brand’s website.

•Citrus notes are interspersed with the sugary elixir of Pineapple and Blueberry. * > I don’t detect any sugary flavors and Blueberry is totally hidden.

•Soft, velvety petals from 170 Rose de Mai Flowers make up each drop, joining a heady mix of Osmanthus, Jasmine, Purple Violet, Freesia, Orchid and Lily of the Valley. * > There is nothing heady in this scent. It’s delicate, delightful and easy to wear.

•Warm, earthy notes of Patchouli and hand-harvested Oakmoss combine with Sandalwood, Cedar wood and Musk. * > I think these notes might be more present in the original formula but in this new one the base is restrained yet beautifully blended. There is a subtle earthy feeling but I would call it rather airy than that kind of earthy which is created by Oakmoss and Patchouli. The base is clean as well so Musk is gentle.

Men don’t be scared to try this one as well: It’s absolutely unisex and I think it’s better than men’s counterpart.

This could be 9 but it’s just too generic even if the quality is great, it’s natural smelling, pleasant and it’s harmoniously blended. I think it should have just a tiny little bit more intensity. Maybe it has had that when it was released.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review.

81%....I must have bad taste, : update i start to like it
Had expected a lot more of this house, it don't dislike it but honestly I don't really like it neither, it leaves me more indifferent... I never had Calvin Klein one, but a friend says it reminds him of it, he says it is rather similar...don't know what I'm gonna do with it...I'll try it once again and will make my mind up if it goes to one of my family-friends or stays with me..
I don't understand the 81%...As I said I must have bad taste, but yep it is my taste and it is not because I feel that it does not deserve its price, that I feel I paid to much for a similar as Calvin klein's one that I am gonna give it a good review

Update
Stil have not tried CK one, but this 1872 is really growing on me, i even have to say i start to like it, have it on today for 6 hours and it still smells even good ..is it possible that one day one's skin reacts different than another day to the same perfume, i think so, had it before already , last week with 24 faubourg, I had after a few hours a smell of Cat Pis lingering around, I had to wash it of.

Eventual Elegance
I find the top note of this fragrance off-putting, especially the lemon, but eventually it dies down and allows the lovely rest to unfold. Soon I can appreciate the well-balanced floral accord in which rose slightly dominates. At first, oakmoss is strongest in the exquisite woody base. Wait longer and my nose returns hungrily to my hand for renewed rapture. This is a quality perfume, brilliantly composed. It's a fruity-floral with the sophistication of an oriental, to which rosemary adds a subtle but lyric hint of green. To me, 1872 is what the best of perfume is all about--a scent to make the nose glad of the ability to smell and turn admiring heads with refined sillage. No one's going to think "sex" when they smell this. [Note to self: don't wear on sex-bombing missions]. They'll turn to see what notable female is near. This is a perfume to wear to receptions and balls, to operas, ballets and symphonies. It's a striking fragrance for a woman who wants to impress while signalling, "No, you can't have my phone number." Obviously, avoid if single and available.

The scent of luxury on an ordinary summer day
What to say? It might seem like just a simple perfume (maybe it is for some), with a citrusy top note, a floral heart, and a woody base. It’s fresh, energizing, refined, delicate, elegant.

Let’s get to the heart of the matter, which is the sensations it evokes in me. I imagined a scene and I’d like to share it with you. Disclaimer: I let my imagination run wild, so the scene is quite embellished .

It's a summer day. The first rays of sunlight illuminate the bedroom in the estate. It's time to wake up. The routine calls for a revitalizing shower before breakfast. The water flows, awakening your still sleepy face.

It's time for the perfume. A sparkling, fresh aura fills the room. It energizes you, revitalizes you... it renews you. As you make your way down to the breakfast room, the citrusy brightness gives way to the delicacy of flowers. The trail reveals a sense of cleanliness, but not just the simple cleanliness of a freshly made hotel room, rather a true, noble cleanliness. It's the scent of luxury on an ordinary summer day.

Beautiful creation, citrus soapy with light flowers. Completely unisex

This smells cold and very bitchy. Also, extremely dated. Think late 90s, early 2000s, when aquatic florals were ruling the office hallways.

A classic scent that I could envision in a English countryside estate during summer or warm spring.

Beautiful...Very beautiful...Beautifully expensive...Beautifully stupid that I like it...Perfectly unremarkable fresh-floral companion.
