X by ck ~
Both my sister and I received this perfume as a gift from our father because he loved his X for men version so much lol.
It is truly one of the most exquisite things in the world and it comes at a price but the scent itself is so rich and gorgeous, it literally is a commanding presence. if worn appropriately, (like any person who is into fragrance or perfume, I truly would hope is…?) it defines you in a truly inexplicable way. If you want to close a deal wear this fragrance. It’s musky, sweet, sophisticated, intoxicating all in small doses and only if worn well.

A non obvious Tresor descendant
It might not seem, but X for Women descends directly from one of the most influent fragrance in the feminine fragrances, the fruity floral made by Sophia Grosjman for Lancôme, Tresor. The main Tresor structure is here, tough not in the same proportion; i feel that the musk and iso e super influence are reduced or masked to fit the cleaned patchouli, without the typical earthiness of this material, which gives the fragrance a typical touch of a modern chypre fragrance. The sweet violet aroma of ionones (synthetic molecules used to create both violet and iris accord) is also smaller here, what makes it difficult to see clearly the Tresor Influence. This way what ends standing out more for me is the fruity and milky touch from the aldehyde C14 (which is really a lactone instead of an aldehyde), very used to create this silky peach touch. The jasmine aroma here is luminous, light, abstract, typical of compositions where hedione is used, filled here with some synthetics or an accord that modify this floral part and also give a spicy floral aroma, something that reminds me in some angles a carnation aroma. Certainly this is a quite beautiful fragrance, hot, of excellent performance and evolution on skin, but this is another Clive creation clearly commercial disguised in a luxury fragrance, using the same synthetics and saying that uses precious materials (it might even be used here, but only in small amounts). Certainly, it's a good example of a)when you purchase an expensive fragrance, 50% of the price is probably the exclusivity aura and b) a luxury fragrance doesn't need to be expensive in its composition, but has to look like it is.

Lightning Comment: Oligarch Smoothie
PRAEFATIO

I am writing this comment only because I am too tired to distill my thoughts into a statement. Differentiated analyses and investigative background research are not to be expected. Therefore, no full trophies are required; tenths of trophies will suffice. If necessary, please saw existing raw trophies accordingly (technical expertise is available from well-known Berlin crime families).

BRAND

I am not interested in Clive Christian's biography; I don't even know if he exists at all; perhaps he is something like the Dr. Sommer team. In any case, he/she/it has bought the traditional British Crown Perfumery, which was once granted the privilege by Queen Victoria to adorn its flacons with crowns. The crown was also the only thing that interested our Klaas Klever. So, a kind of consul-Weyer adoption in the business sector.

CC fragrances are a good choice if you want to get rid of 1000 euros and would like a perfume (worth 100 euros) but have no idea what else to buy with the remaining 900 and find it ordinary to donate them to a charitable organization. You simply pay 1000 for the scent. From that, the tax advisor retrieves 500 from the tax office, and with that, you can buy another CC cheap fragrance like this one (worth 50 euros).

NAME

The name of this fragrance was originally X for Woman. Someone then pointed out to Clive that this designation was far from overloaded enough to match the scent.

SCENT

OCXTFPOTPP doesn't smell really bad, but it is aimlessly and lovelessly cobbled together. It can best be described as a fruit smoothie in the tutti-frutti range with a strong peach predominance. Just as colorful flowers are often added to salads today, they have not been stingy with this whole fruit drink either, blending in all the blossoms that were at hand. Wood, chemicals, and a bit of dubious gourmand notes are also included. What I find most interesting is a potentially quite powerful dirt vertical from a robust iris root to a patch that is far too evil for hippies, but even this thing soon gets lost and muddled in London's assortment.

BOTTLE

The bottle appears repulsive in its bizarrely failed design (Switzerland: stossend) to all people with a sense of classical proportions. The offensiveness primarily lies in its overwhelming bulge due to a cap that has been grotesquely enlarged to make the crown acquired from Cliff Barnes truly unmissable. As if it had swollen from alcohol abuse. To make everything even worse, the crown has been adorned with obscure ornamentation and designed in such a way that it resembles less a king's hat than a baker's cap or, worse, a male body part that rhymes with vote.

Barefoot or Dress Shoe?
When it comes to clothing, I tend to be more of a barefoot type - much to the chagrin of my very chic parents.

Okay, I am picky about fragrances, we can agree on that, but my wardrobe needs to be primarily comfortable and easy to care for.

However, next week I want to bid farewell to my dear mom in style from this earthly realm - because she deserves it!

Parked behind my specialty perfumery, I reached for X Women with dreamlike certainty and hurried on to the doctor.
Yet, the fragrance miraculously slowed my haste, and I no longer stumbled forward but began to stride.
Even the uncomfortable doctor's office didn't faze me, as I felt at peace, strengthened and protected by X.
The scent is a knockout - without being overpowering, and magnificent without any pretense.
With delicious light fruit, it clings to me - and doesn't let go.
This is exactly the support I need.
The iris is powdery, the rose velvety, and patchouli and vanilla soften everything that comes at me, making it gentle and sweet.
With these "dress shoes," you walk on clouds.

I have found the basic essentials for my "farewell wardrobe" with X Women, and I think my mom would have nodded in approval with a smile.

295 GBP, a woman can just casually take that out of her bra!
Yep, the money for that nice little fragrance is something a woman can easily find in her coffee fund, in her bra, in her savings sock, or in her garters. She shouldn't have it in the bank, because if Daddy has access to Mommy's account and suddenly checks that Mommy has spent 295 bucks on something very suspicious, he might think of a very expensive vibrator that blows itself up after the third use (hopefully without the woman involved). What is a man supposed to think when he sees "X for Woman" as the payment purpose on the bank statement? He would never believe that his wife would spend that much money on a perfume.
When I tested X this morning, I was very impressed. When I read the price, I was no longer impressed. Completely out of proportion, and the price is disproportionate. X is a pretty scent, well made and with a certain elegance. The opening is very fruity and fresh green. No synthetic fruity nonsense, I admit. Many very beautiful flowers in the heart with a certain classic opulence.
And likewise a fully packed base, with everything the heart desires and something that makes you feel cheerful. But Mr. Christian, we’ve seen all this before in the 1980s! The punch, the idea, the meter-long sillage. I collect these little treasures! They are at least just as good, if not better, and cost not even a third. If I ever spent 295 pounds on a fragrance, it would have to be a perfume that smells on my skin as if I had discovered a new galaxy!

Ripe wonderful fruits (especially peaches) with a touch of musk. Narcotic-seductive.

Sophisticated, elegant fruity floral. I enjoy it a lot but it's so delicate and shy, I barely smell it. A bit more sillage would be perfect.

Gucci Rush is super expensive!!! Okay, maybe a bit more elegant, but you really have to sniff carefully. Ripe peach is still a ripe peach!

Well, little one, you got those peachy cheeks from mommy, huh?
