White Flowers Creed 2011

This white floral is entrancing until Narcissus drags buckets of swamp water up from the basement and dumps it all over everything, kill-joy that it can often be. Geranium, which can go either way, joins the general melee and we have a war going on.

"Don't you love that fresh, crisp top?"
Was the bathroom door left open?

Who wins this war depends on the individual nose. If you love Narcissus, or if the notes otherwise manage to coalesce for you then this is a beautiful and distinguished white floral with a simple, but beguiling base. If the swamp prevails, like it does for me, then let's just say goodbye to these combatants and visit the many lovely, non-warring Creeds.

Needless to say, White Flowers is accomplished, has quality ingredients and composition. Projection and longevity are good. It's simply a matter of personal preference. and whether you enjoy olfactory wars.

This comes across to my nose as a white floral of the crispest and best quality and I can detect all the top notes of apple, lemon, and violet leaves.
I found a deal on this, $200 for a 75 ml and added it my collection and as it runs for $500 a bottle it was a bargain.
The juice in the tester bottle I own has poorer longevity than the juice from the tester bottle I sprayed on my hand in John Lewis. The perfume's projection fades to a low level after 30 minutes and you can start detecting the geranium. Once it reaches base notes it is a skin scent.

The bottle has 10-karat gilded gold so it's very pretty and vintage-looking. A perfume bottle for a queen.

A woman has her dreams from time to time. After getting by for 15 years with just 2 different perfumes and finally discovering parfumo for myself, my desires for more began to grow. It should be a great British scent. What could be more fitting than Creed, if one believes the advertising. If it’s expensive, then it should be done right. Besides, Les Royales Exclusives - White Flowers already makes a statement just with its name.

Unfortunately, while there were plenty of sharings on parfumo, none were available for this noble perfume. So, I ordered fragrance samples from this prestigious brand at a renowned perfumery in Mannheim. They soon arrived, lovingly packaged. I was so proud of myself.

The first spray on my skin: expectant sniffing. Lovely, cheerful, buoyant, and sweet, apple, little flowers, and citrus started off. Then my problem began.

Oh no, this couldn’t be true! Ariel Color in the main wash cycle reported back to my brain. It may be that this scent develops nicely, but I stand in front of my open washing machine, just loaded it, and filled it with detergent. This image I cannot shake off throughout the entire scent progression. Moreover, the perfume holds really well.

White Flowers could be a wonderful, light, fresh floral perfume if the creators at Creed hadn’t stirred in laundry detergent just for me. Of course, I can also smell jasmine and rose, musk and sandalwood. But the feeling of having forgotten at least 3 rinse cycles with clear water after the main wash cycle remains - unfortunately.

Nevertheless, I recommend testing it. The perfume deserves it.

A slightly wild garden...surrounded by dense hedges, filled with flowering bushes...Hibiscus, Weigela, Buddleia...

In the center, a white, dreamy pavilion, overshadowed by a blooming apple tree, entwined with ivy.

Cautiously, hesitantly, I enter the garden, curious...a white-pink powdery mist rises, and it begins to rain petals that fall gently swaying down.

Still, I move forward. At the pavilion, I peek cautiously into the entrance.

In the delicate mist, I see a sleeping beauty on white wicker chairs. She wears a long lace dress and white shoes, her black hair cascading to the ground.

Her skin is snow white. A cherry-red mouth. She sleeps. And smiles. Is she dreaming of the prince?

I understand:

I have found Snow White, in the middle of an enchanted garden...
After the delicate apple blossom, which seems even fresher with a splash of lemon, a cloud of musk and light rose envelops me, making me feel powdery and dazed...

Later, jasmine and sandalwood give it a gentle seriousness that prevents it from becoming cheesy and too sweet...one wears it with dignity and a buoyant smile...

(Actually, the perfume is really far too expensive. Ok, I found an offer for half the price, which suddenly disappeared after I placed my order. Ok, it’s Eau de Parfum and not just Eau de Toilette. Ok, it’s 250 ml. Ok, the bottle...dreamy and also huge, I can even pass it down to my great-granddaughters.

But this scent...the last shirt is also white, and it has no pockets. The last flowers don’t either. So, why shouldn’t I enjoy the scent beforehand? Who knows if I will even experience my great-granddaughters...but maybe they will keep the bottle and even catch a whiff of the remnants of the scent...

I simply find it otherworldly. Elevated, a dream. There is no better way to console oneself over one’s bank balance :-) )

It was more of a coincidence that I stumbled upon White Flowers in a department store of a large department store in Bangkok. Since I had diligently collected discount coupons worth around 250 euros through other purchases, I wasn't deterred by the proud price. I am a big Creed fan and have always wanted a perfume from the Les Royales series. Overall, they had 3 pieces from this series there: White Flowers, Sublime Vanille, Original Cologne.

I must honestly admit that I liked all 3 quite a bit ... while Sublime Vanille is more of a cuddly perfume with a super balanced, not too intense vanilla scent, and Original Cologne is characterized more by its citrusy fruity notes, White Flowers is simply pure spring for me. A wonderfully floral scent perfect for a walk with a partner through the woods at the beginning of spring.

Now to the fragrance :) The opening of this perfume is mainly composed of apple and violet leaves. Both can be wonderfully detected, and they harmonize very nicely with each other. The citrus notes, in my opinion, remain rather subtle.

After a while, you can increasingly smell the jasmine, which gradually takes over the perfume. The rose also unfolds at the same time but is not as strongly present as the jasmine. It takes a little longer for the rose to gain strength and become more prominent.

The longevity of this perfume is truly remarkable ... sprayed on the wrist in the morning, you can still enjoy the wonderful scent experience in the evening.

The only downside: the price. If I hadn't had all these discount coupons, it wouldn't have crossed my mind to buy this perfume at all. I mean, the scent smells super luxurious and of high quality, and it has a great development in my opinion, but for me, the pain threshold has already been reached (530 euros, I believe).
