Strawberry, but make it grown-up
I have never been a big fan of Creed. It's just not an appealing brand to me, the vibes and marketing are so boring, and the few scents I tried never captured me. The dudebro hype around Aventus that would not die down for years didn't make the house any more appealing either. So, it comes as a surprise to me that I really love this scent, even though it doesn't seem to be popular on here.
Fragaria is the perfect mix of sweet, girly strawberry and a ladylike lipstick scent.
This strawberry is neither cloying, nor too sour and underripe. Like a freshly picked woodland strawberry!
The berry dances and sparkles on top of waxy iris and powdery violet. Together they really smell like a high quality cream lipstick.
All the other notes are more subtle additions: A touch of tingly pepper in the opening, a little praline sweetness and just a whisper of patch to balance it out.
This is a very uplifting feel-good scent to me, that still feels a little more serious than other strawberry-forward perfumes. It's ideal for the warmer months. Makes me want to put on a cute sundress or midi skirt and top combo, obviously with some pink as part of the outfit.
Strawberry and lipstick-like iris are a match made in heaven, I wonder why they are not put together more often. Wonderful.
