The Windy Seal
This is not meant to be a summary, but the fragrance sold under the name of the almost legendary Cool Water is by no means worthy of its name. And certainly not "Reborn." While the scent bears a slight resemblance to Cool Water, it falls short of it olfactorily in every way.
It’s not an icy cold shower. No crisp feeling of freshness. No scent for extreme temperatures.
I remain puzzled about the thought process behind this fragrance. It’s as if they took the DNA of Cool Water and replaced everything that previously worked with a completely chaotic concept.
And how does it smell now? Very dull and synthetic, somewhat even slightly "burnt" (?!) and in a certain way also heavy. It’s really an exhausting scent cloud at times. It has a bit of that over-the-top, cheap men’s shower gels that are supposed to smell like panthers, dragons, or absolute POWER!
If I were to create a Top 10 list of synthetic perfumes, I would definitely include this one. I’m really sorry, but I’m at a loss for words.
