a really warm scent. super cozy and comforting. i find the opening to be a bit unpleasant almost too synthetic? Though that dry down… AMAZING. The slight woodiness with the creamy soft skin sweetness with a touch of coffee mwah.

It’s like they took the best parts of glossier doux and phlur vanilla skin and still having that Dedcool skin DNA.

Not a gourmand girl yall but this on a christmas market day would be bus. Wouldn’t buy the full size but throughly enjoyed

It's a warm fall day in 2008 and you're waiting in line at a Tuscan-inspired café with your mom. She orders a mocha and the scent is imprinted into your memory, manifesting through your love for cheap espresso martinis in adulthood.

Yum.. I discovered this fragrance at Sephora today and knew I had to give it a try right away. I'm not the biggest fan of gourmands but I love testing any coffee-related scents, and Mocha Magic delivered. The opening notes are bright, with a large burst of sugary mocha and sticky vanilla bean along with the distinct smell of alcohol. For some reason I was immediately reminded of those mid-2000's Barnes and Nobles that had a Starbucks or some other coffeehouse attached. You know you're not getting a refined coffee there but it's cozy and sometimes you just have a craving for synthetic sugar.

The mocha somewhat recedes into the background after twenty or so minutes, making way for a deeper liquor scent. The faint scent of mocha mixed with the strong notes of bourbon, vanilla, and tonka bean are reminiscent of Angel's Share. I can't stand Angel's Share because the tonka and liquor notes make me nauseous, but the heart notes in Mocha Magic were a perfect blend of boozy coffee. I was surprised to find that this was super tolerable, and I even ended up somewhat liking it on myself.

Ultimately, this fragrance is a synthetic mocha scent rather than a deep coffee. The syrupy-sweet coffee notes and the bourbon vanilla base remind me of the inexpensive espresso martinis you can get at any typical American chain restaurant. The projection isn't wide but the longevity is decent; I kept catching whiffs of this scent for the next five or six hours, and it was enjoyable each time. Not my taste as I prefer lighter perfumes, but I enjoyed testing this and I'm quite impressed that this fragrance managed to make tonka tolerable to me.
