The Rustle of Colorful Leaves
My comment is dedicated to autumn and Louis1, who has enriched me with this beautiful fragrance and made me happy.
Un Air d'Arabie Ambre is undoubtedly a truly elegant, autumnal scent, lightly warmed by the sun. Not overly warm, rather lukewarm, it enters my thoughts and gives a gentle push - the push to get up and let the colors of autumn affect me. It works best as morning approaches. When it is very fresh outside and a quiet atmosphere prevails. Then, when most are still asleep, when the asphalt is still soaked with water from its morning cleansing and it doesn't yet look like the night has been broken by light.
Taking the first breath.
The lungs vibrate and the fine hairs on the skin all stand up.
A beautiful feeling when you are so warmly wrapped up and yet feel the freshness on your nose and hands.
So I walk along.
I walk forever along the river.
I hardly meet anyone.
I draw in the scent of the trees.
In my mind, I touch their bark.
Slowly the sun smiles at me.
It makes everything shine autumnal.
Softly everything is muted by warm, orange tones.
I tread carefully through the leaves that have spread widely across the path.
My heart and my brain laugh.
Both love to hear the sound of the rustling leaves when you gently push them aside, through the passage.
It seems as if autumn brings peace to the earth. With its falling, colorful leaves, which I always threw around wildly as a child. I spun endlessly in circles, with arms outstretched, until I finally felt sick. Through all the colors, the sun always breaks through and lets everything shine deeply sensual and calm.
Un Air d'Arabie Ambre is exactly the perfect scent for the morning autumn walk.
It initially appears fresh and citrusy with a rich green note, as if one were wandering naked through the dense forest. A woody note also immediately comes in, which then slowly but surely melts into a warm undertone of patchouli. Light hints of smoke return again and again, but they never settle completely. The scent itself gives me an impression of orange, beige, and red. Not bright red. Not the red lips of a vampire lady. It is a slightly pale red.
All of this swirls around in my head. These colors that the scent conveys.
The walk becomes lighter, the sun seems to resonate with my stride.
Then, as my walk comes to an end, a very unsweet vanilla emerges. Slightly dirty, leaning into the autumnal atmosphere that extends not only around me but also onto my body. The perfume becomes distinctly animalistic towards the end, which does not bother me at all. Finally, a hot kick - it forces the sun to its knees. From autumn to the desert. At an immense speed. I find it fits perfectly. It stays with me for a long time, until it slowly drifts around the corner.
But something is missing for me - hence the 20% deduction. A bit more play with the smoke! Maybe I am just too much of a "smoke addict"?
Silent. But not deaf.
The rustle of colorful leaves.
I love to hear that!
