No Spice Girl
As much as I was taken by the super-feminine, powdery classic Un Air de Paris, I am quite divided regarding the "spicy" version. I miss the spice!
I have come across several fragrances that are so spicy they could easily serve as a base for an Indian dish or as gingerbread ingredients. But the Dorin-Spice, in my opinion, is hardly spicy at all, more herbal. Aside from a bit of bergamot and orange in the top and heart notes, nothing fresh comes through; the overall impression is more green-woody and herb garden. It also doesn't strike me as feminine, not even unisex, but rather masculine. What bothers me the most is a slight rubber note that accompanies the fragrance. Sorry, not for me.
