Sexy in white

When I saw this perfume "in White" on the drugstore shelf I thought that it was an ethereal and light scent and I was ready to smell White flowers or citruses or White tea notes. Not at all.
I discovered a round and very sexy scent when the orange blossom, sweet and not too vibrant is made warmer by the amber base, noticeable and very pleasant on my skin. A well composed acchord with a gourmand result although I don't see hazelnut or caramel notes in the pyramid.
The sillage is quite good as the longevity. This wonderful and very sexy but discrete potion is enclosed in a very refined multifaceted bottle, similar to the classic Elie Saab's one.
A scent to discover and to wear in every season, expecially when you want to feel very feminin and charming.

A good flanker…

I LOVE the original Elie Saab! Therefore I was excited to try this, given to me by a friend, who knows about my irrational craving for perfumes
In White is a much more subtle and discreet experience. It does not have the same citric feeling to it so it stays closer to the skin. It gives me a more soapy and creamy feeling and I smell more flowers than in Elie Saab.
Sadly, on my skin it disappears quite quickly and in my opinion it does not have the same uniqueness as the original. But still it is a good scent.
The bottle is still beautiful with its chubbier expression compared to the original and I love the old fashion look of it.

Sunstroke

I had previously written a rather unflattering comment about In White, but I must revise that.

I had tried the fragrance in sweltering heat at a flea market, and it smelled musty and gray.
No trace of White.

Had I already suffered from a sunstroke? For il sole was mercilessly beating down on us.
But my husband also turned away in horror.

What had Saab concocted that was so musty?

Today I discovered the bottle in the perfumery, and my Bettina was raving about it.
So I had to try it again.

A wonderfully fresh scent woven from delicate fruits and white jasmine envelops me warmly and brightly.

Yesss - this is Saab's signature, and now the title "In White" makes sense.

A sweet hint of amber wafts over, and the patchouli is light and radiant.

I must apologize, for the fragrance is beautiful.

Bettina had read my comment titled "Gray Veil" - and she suspects that the heat did not do the fragrance any favors.

It must have had a sunstroke.

Joyfully, I take In White to the checkout, and she calls after me: And change your comment!

Successful Feel-Good Fragrance with Long Presence

This is how I imagine it when all components come together: sun, warmth, the scent of flowers and ripe fruit, your own fresh skin scent, and then Elie Saab in White arrives, and it fits, it fits so well that I would recommend this fragrance to every bride getting married in spring or summer. Good mood is guaranteed, and it lasts all day and into the next night (oh, I dream...), Not a completely new scent in terms of composition, but indeed a very successful companion for romantic moments or even a daily companion in the office, fresh-floral-light sweetness with an undertone of clean skin. This is something you must have at home. These feel-good perfumes can quickly lift moods and bring positivity-I have often experienced this myself. I find In White very successful. The fragrance gives me the feeling of a harmonious and stable partnership. Not the sparkling, newly discovered liaison, no, but rather the good and reliable relationship with a partner. He knows what I think and vice versa. When we feel uncomfortable, we communicate through eye contact, we can almost finish each other's sentences without thinking. Of course, after many years of living together, the butterfly storm in the stomach has calmed down, but there is still that comforting feeling when you can hold your loved one in your arms in the evening and ask, “So, how was your day?”

That's exactly how I feel when I wear In White. It is not a loud girly scent, it does not seek attention, and I do not expect to smell it on every second woman. No, it is different! It is reliable, it accompanies me throughout the day in the cold, dreary weather and is by my side with its well-groomed and feminine aura.

Upon application, I am enveloped by the aroma of fruits and orange blossom, which do not come across as overly artificial or sweet. The musk also reveals itself to be rather delicate.

In such cozy togetherness, Elie and I spend a pleasant time until he snuggles closer and wraps me in a warm, fruity-creamy caramel blanket, which is probably due to the amber. Although it seems as if the fragrance has made itself comfortable on my skin, a subtle hint still surrounds me.

Longevity and sillage are within a reasonable range. At least my very sensitive colleague has not made any negative comments about it, and my husband also finds it wonderful.

Nothing annoys, nothing scratches, everything seems to fit, even after many years of marriage.
