Replace the green tea with black tea and... you still hardly smell anything at all!
Ahoy! Here I am again. And what can I say, it was probably obvious to everyone that I'd turn up early or late. And that I would of course introduce a tea scent at some point. I really like tea, not only in scents, but also to drink.
That's why I have always loved to try especially these Green Tea scents by Elizabeth Arden (so by trying I mean sprayed on, NOT drunk!!).
Green tea is not necessarily a favourite of mine, because it sometimes itches my throat, but I drink it every now and then. Just for a change. Because it's good for a change. At least that's what they say... :D
Here comes Green Tea Exotic. Yes, an exotic scent. But before I continue, I have to say something: Putting milk in tea, no matter what the tea is, is NOT exotic but rather... buuuuärrrrrrgghghgh!!! DD
Hey hey, that needed to be said again. But I don't think you put milk in the green tea, do you? I can only imagine that with the English :D
The best way to enjoy green tea is to do it like the Moroccans or the Maghrebian tea culture in general: You drink green tea refined with mint! :)
Anyway, despite some cries that we were supposedly deprived of our freedom in a democracy during the Corona crisis, we at least still have the freedom to drink our tea the way we want to, even if I would advise against milk in tea and would prefer to forbid it, ... because that's really gross people, baaah! D Bah, am I talking bullshit again, just because I can't think of anything else... But ok, let's go to the scent!
In the background I smell a slight sweetness, but that's it, because the smell doesn't change much anymore, at least not for me.
That's a pity, but fans of this fragrance series know anyway that these fragrances are extremely weak, so all this was to be expected.
The bottle! The bottle is the usual rectangular-oval bottle, which is clear here and, as is often the case, has a green leaf printed on the front. The cap is milky white this time. All in all, it's one of the less beautiful bottles in this fragrance line.
It may be that the scent is a bit more effective on really hot days, but I found that this scent was a bit weaker than most other green tea scents, but at least it smells as nice. Worth a test for fans anyway, others will only like the scent if they are looking for a scent with a light tea note, which you want to spray on over and over again for refreshment, similar to this 4711 and similar colognes. So nothing to go out, but just for yourself depending on your mood.
This also means that the scent is only useful for the summer, of course, because on cold days it would fly away even faster than ladies run away from me... *sigh* :DD
The only thing I don't really find exotic is the scent, which apart from the low sillage and durability would be my only point of criticism here, as I would associate other things with exotic, such as a pineapple or passion fruit scent, which could have been here, but unfortunately this is not the case and the scent therefore smells rather "normal" to me.
Well, that's it. Well then, I wish you all a nice evening and see you next time :)

D Bah, am I talking bullshit again, just because I can't think of anything else... But ok, let's go to the scent!
The smell:
The fragrance begins with fresh and citric scents like lemon or bergamot as well as light green tea. Moreover, the scent seems to me to be slightly creamy, what is quite pleasant. Soon, the green tea mixes with black tea, so that an even more beautiful tea scent is created, but unfortunately, it is rather weak in its intensity. A little later, the eponymous green tea almost completely disappears, so that from the remaining teas I can only smell the black tea, but I think this is quite ok, as it brings a change to the green tea series of Arden. Unfortunately, however, also the black tea has turned out quite weak...In the background I smell a slight sweetness, but that's it, because the smell doesn't change much anymore, at least not for me.
The Sillage and the durability:
Well, I have to say that I find the Sillage, like most green tea scents here, quite lousy. Because the radiation is very low and can only be smelled at close range. And then it only lasts for a very short time, only about two hours, so you would have to spray the scent again and again to smell something longer,... best every 100 steps or so you should spray yourself again :DThat's a pity, but fans of this fragrance series know anyway that these fragrances are extremely weak, so all this was to be expected.

Conclusion:
Soo... yes yes I would have liked to have rated this fragrance higher, because it already smells quite good, especially if you press your nose flat on the sprayed area, but that's exactly where the problem lies: if you don't do this, then you hardly notice the fragrance, especially others won't even notice it. And I'm sure that nobody outside will walk around with his arm on his nose all the time, even if I should have experienced you like this at various perfume-meetings :DIt may be that the scent is a bit more effective on really hot days, but I found that this scent was a bit weaker than most other green tea scents, but at least it smells as nice.
