Fruity, synthetic, piercing: Yet I like it!

Ferrari Man in Red has been on my wishlist forever. Various YouTube reviews (including those from Tltg Reviews and Fragrance Dawg) sparked my interest. The scent has something piercing, yes. It is expressive and synthetic. However, it is still a beautiful fragrance for me.

Fruity opening, accompanied by spices. I perceive artificial apple, cardamom, and lavender. The dominant fragrance note for me is labdanum. This sweet, slightly honey-scented resin is the piercing note I mentioned at the beginning. Man in Red is not too heavy for me and is definitely wearable in summer and during physical activity, of course when applied discreetly. A pretty universal EdT that is also very unique for me. Because by now there is another fragrance that goes quite exactly in this direction: Pepe Jeans for Him.

Longevity is good, easily 6 hours. Sillage is also okay, even quite strong for 2 hours. Not overly sweet, not too enveloping. For me, it's also a fragrance that I like to use at the gym. Usable in any season. The price is great if you can still find it. Otherwise, I have mentioned a similarly affordable alternative.

The Unknown Fruit . . .

At some point, Fragrance Dawg had mentioned the scent in a positive light, and by chance, it was offered at a good price by the local flour producer. Worth a try.
My first spray at home: Wow. Yes, it really is fruity-sweet, and I don't mind if it's synthetic; it's quite distinctive (as far as I can judge). Which fruit exactly inspired it, the fragrance pyramid doesn't help me with. It doesn't matter. It smells delicious, rounded, and enveloping. Occasionally, something sharp flashes through that is piercing without being unpleasant - more like the gin in a well-mixed cocktail. I wouldn't have expected this scent in this Ferrari-red, inherently attractive but rather technical-angular bottle. It lasts well, and the projection is quite noticeable. I have more expensive fragrances that perform worse. The only downside is that the sprayer sometimes gets stuck in its surrounding casing.
