Sing the embalmed barque
The soft creak of stretching planks, the gurgle of waves steering you, you imagine yourself in a waking state, your boat drifting through alien coastal mudflats, no oars, only seaweed and bright green seaweed, creeping along the edge of your barge on the glaring crusts of salt You drift in obscure ethereal mists, as if damp roots smoldering in fire, ashes of salt-water molecules and pearly cool earth wafting, and you can see neither sea nor shore, but you hear a soothing hum of warm feminine voices spreading like balm over the barque. Then images of beguiling blossoms flow like tart nectar from the fibers of the beams, becoming one with the salt and the clouds of root fire, like smoke that solidifies into amber, pausing in an impression with the sea and your drifting boat.

Jill, Tara and Ash of Kansas City-based For Strange Women create only natural and sustainable-based fragrances.
"Siren" opens with an authentic accord of sea salt and seaweed. At the heart, the seaweed disappears and the salt combines with bright earthy roots (iris) and smoky notes to create a spray-like ethereal mist that gradually becomes warmer, more balsamic-floral-resinous (ambergris) and woody in the base, but retains its smoky-salty character. Sirens sing something five to six hours moderately to quietly the balsamic bark.
