The Noble Gourmand
Shade of Chocolate starts with the very noticeable bergamot. As it develops, coffee and cocoa notes come through very well, and the minimal citrus freshness remains intact. Even though one might not think so, the notes of this fragrance blend together quite nicely. It is certainly not a scent for everyone, that much can be said, but I find it somehow beautifully chocolatey and alcoholic due to the rum. The tonka bean adds a rounder and creamier touch.
For me, this is not an edible gourmand, but a noble gourmand that smells like perfume, can one say that?
In any case, it is worth a try. The bottle is also a total eye-catcher.
Caution: not a candidate for blind buying.
