Takes me to a Happy Places

When I first watched the notes of this fragrance, I got instantly intrigued. The price is quite high, so I bought a decant. I received it the day I was heading for my summer holidays, so I took it with me. Once I smelled it, I was fascinated, and all week I used only this perfume. Naturally, now it reminds me of this vacation, the last before the Covid crisis. That's why I say that it takes me to happy places. You all know how perfumes awake memories, right?
Anyway, on the perfume. I didn't notice it before, and so today, I was quite shocked when I found out that this is marketed towards men. No way! This is completely unisex, if not feminine! No one should hesitate to wear this, I swear!
The perfume contains resins in the opening, and this is not that usual, from what I have experienced. It's a bit spicy and fresh, then sandalwood slowly creeps in. But to me, it's not lactonic in any way.
To be honest, it is not that easy for me to grab separate notes in this perfume. To my nose, it is just a perfect combination, perfect beauty.
On the skin, this scent is bright, but it also gets a little sweet. Where is this sweetness coming from? I have no idea, but it makes this scent feel positive and happy (I hope it's not only my good associations). These sweet and kindly leathery notes follow all day long, and even when you already forgot about this scent thorough the day, it suddenly sparks and reminds you of its existence.
The projection of this scent is moderate, it's not a beast mode. This makes it perfect for the summer.

Caught up in the hype

Or Noir aroused my interest because it has mentioned a certain Influenzerin and the notes have also appealed to me. That with the hype in Russia mentioned there I can not check, because I am unfortunately not powerful of the language, but I believe the statement of the previously mentioned Influenzerin at this point simply times.

Or Noir could not meet my expectations, unfortunately. The reason for this is simply you similarity to other well-known fragrances, which are also significantly cheaper. Here would be Rehab, Spicebomb Reflection Man, Amouage. I just can't ignore this similarity. The only difference is the leather note, which is recognizable in the base. But this is just too little independence for me and I don't like this leather note either. It just doesn't work well. I've had this problem with some Memo creations as well. Or Noir is a sweet spicy fragrance, as it already seht often there is no more and no less.

My thesis why Or Noir will never experience a big hype: Or Noir does not create it like for example Aventus or Sauvage a completely new direction, which will imprint itself in the heads of the people. Or Noir is a fragrance, which will always lead a shadowy existence.

The price is still not that crazy in my opinion: Roja, Xerjoff, Tom Ford is priced at a similar level. Of course, this is not a bargain, but just not extreme yet, as it is with some Rojas.
The durability is good and leaves nothing to be desired, but after 8-9 hours Or Noir is no longer perceptible on my skin. The silage is good and for 4-5 hours even over an arm's length perceptible, but becomes skin tight after about 7 hours.

Unfortunately, I have here probably just expected too much and really fell for a hype.

The next Aventus ?

Ok the title is a little too exaggerated but HFC is currently hyped in Russia as Creed it was the end of the 2010s with us ...

Or Noir has by the orange tree a bit similarity to Reflection men whereby Or Noir clearly spicier and darker works
The fragrance has something warm calm in itself ...but then again something woody spicy but not as moist and in your face as with Encre Noir but rather dignified and slightly creamy.
The durability is really very good and the Silage is also not without ...
I am curious where the journey of HFC goes .... Who knows maybe in half a year everyone will wear this fragrance like once Aventus of Creed?
The first You Tuber have already reported it seems as if the house here in Europe from week to week known ..
