Very nice unisex incense-rose
Wow. Eau sacree by Heeley is very nice and particular, and could become a favorite perfume of some people. Why? Because it is a singolar fragrance reaching to be a pure incense (with inside an amount of various incense type) and also having a strong unisex rose appeal, added to clear labdanum, light woodies, dark patchouli and spicies. Good durability and strong presence, but remember all depends from your skin PH.

The beauty of this, it's that a strong smokyness rose will be projected for a long time, always in same step with the incenses.

I know that for give an intense liturgical feeling, need to to use more than just one incense like frankincense, in fact in Eau Sacree there are more, like myrrh and maybe some other. So they won the challenge and I want to put it in the category of "liturgical incense" mostly for the entire drydown.

Clearly it hasn't the full cathedralic feeling like Avignon, Lavs, Liturgie des Heures etc etc, or it's better to say *it hasnt only this* - because Heeley created this perfume putting other noticeable accords inside, that will help also to earn more longevity (usually issue of pure full incense perfume).
Suggested? Sure
(Perfect for men and women both)

Heeley / Eau Sacrée
Fragrance 3x stronger than its classic father Heeley-Cardinal. Here we have an extract (my father was Eau de Parfum). Everything was improved in the son of the Cardinal - depth, black / white, mysticism, and most of all the power and length of the projection. family :-)
In short, it is a combination of roasted labdanum, olibanum, myrrh,… ..with the addition of patchouli, vetiver, musk ……. concentrated, dense, very smoky, black, and at the same time spacious and mystical incense lightened with… rose. I RECOMMEND.

“Since time immemorial, incense was believed to have extraordinary properties, and therefore was used to perform rituals to purify the soul, free the mind from worldly worries, and lift the spirit. To celebrate this lofty tradition, Heeley has created the elegant and timeless fragrance Eau Sacrée - a source of peace.
Peace extract, grace, holiness, stone, silence, faith, light, piety, sacrament, spirit, purity, space, divinity, trinity, soul ”.

Great incense but poor performances
I ve tried it on my skin. Love the peppery opening. Then develops a deep church incense smell. Really cold, mystical. But longevity was so poor on me. After 3 hours I couldn t even smell it on my skin. I was very disappointed also because it's an extrait de parfum so I was hoping a much better longevity. Be also aware that it's not an easy fragrance to wear.

Like an improved Avignon
This is a frankincense and myrrh BOMB on my skin, wonderfully dark, mid-weight and ambery, with a rosemary/sage combo effect that strikes me as quite savoury. I get no pine whatsoever, but certainly something woody. There's also no smoke here, to my nose. The vetiver and patchouli anchors this in the damp earth, and on my skin, there is only the slightest hint of rose that comes across similarly to a metallic saffron note. This is happy for me, as I generally prefer rose as a low-key supporting actor.

This, Cardinal and Sel Marin are top of my list of enduring favourites from Heeley, and high in the mix of interesting but inoffensive favourites in general. Eau Sacree is the fall/winter answer to Cardinal's spring/summer vibes, the warmth to Cardinal's cool loftiness, the repressed sensuality flowing beneath Cardinal's holy refinement. I know Cardinal did it first, but I can't pick a favourite between the two of them.

Let your soul dance!
The large portal is open.
I step inside.
Silence.
I sit down in the pew.
Dark, old wood.
Threads of incense float in pale light.
A flute plays the first notes.
My soul rises.
Climbs along the colorful windows
up into the high vault.
She dances.
Lets herself be carried away by thin clouds of incense and high flute notes
into divine lightness and joy.
Immerse yourself for a moment in the infinite expanse of the sky
Float light as a feather
back into my heart.
Blessed.

Whether I perceive incense as sacred depends on the experience I associate with the scent. Different churches use different types of incense.
I find Eau Sacrée to be a dark, dominant incense that was often used in old churches and has fused with the stone and wood over the years. It is present as soon as I enter the room. As it progresses, it becomes lighter and brighter and occasionally has slightly citrusy nuances.

Whether I like this incense depends on how I evaluate the experiences and associations that I associate with the room and the church as an institution, with my faith and image of God.
For me personally, incense as a perfume has a special appeal in that I can evoke memories of good experiences and they evoke a firework of happiness in my brain. And I can do this without feeling stuffy and lacking air to breathe. Pachelbel's Canon in Hufeisen's interpretation is closely linked to this.

A rather herbacious incense, slightly less powdery than most, definitely in the brighter and cleaner category. Easy to wear but intimate.

Opening is a dense blast of incense that later on develops into rosemary and thyme. Stays rather close to the skin but enduring.

Peppery opening followed by resinous, multifaceted incense and myrrh with a touch of rose. Rich, natural, but with subpar performance.

A snuffed out candle. Wisps of smoke trailing from sticks of incense. Very meditative, calm. Spiritual, but not churchy. Mesmerising.
