Great fragrance for the warmer days. A little insider tip

The Zeste der Gingembre is a little insider tip for the warmer days of the year or for a nice vacation in the warmth.
Heeley is well known in our perfume bubble, but outside this bubble this brand is very unknown.

This fragrance has a great mix of lime, lemon and orange in the top note. In fact, when I first sprayed it, I immediately thought, without knowing the notes, that it contained all three components and that's exactly how it is. In other words, you can really detect these three accords somewhere. It just smells really good.

Over time, a good portion of ginger is added.
You have to like ginger, otherwise this fragrance is probably not for you.
This ginger is played out fantastically and, together with this top note, gives you wonderful summer vibes.

This fragrance reminded me of a Greek designer after about 5 minutes.
The Korres Anafi already has clearly noticeable parallels and the Anafi is also one of my favorites for the summer.

The performance is okay.
It could have a little more steam, but it's not mega bad either.

"Zeste de Gingembre" by Heeley is another (full) hit from the brand, buying amazing new sharp and spicy facets to the citrusy Summergame.

Ginger rarely ends up in my shopping basket, and only very sparingly in food. Also at the Sushiband I always leave it out. Fragrances, however, the tangy, dominant and very own root plant can give a distinct spicy kick. And "Zeste de Gingembre" is probably the lone reference for that as of now. Because too often the tuber or its smell doesn't find its way into fragrances anyway. "Dior Homme Sport" from 2012 or Guerlain's "Ginger Piccante" mentioned as exceptions. "Zeste de Gingembre" is but almost a league of its own in its ginger expression.

Combined with a sparkling lime, a green-sunny cocktail vibe spreads that I find hard to resist. Clears the nose and rounds the soul, makes worries small and personal weather beautiful. Spicy, special, slightly mentholated or minty, soothing tea-like, yet refreshing to no end. Very different from its citrus competitors on the market. Heeley has once again done a great job.

Flacon: minimalist stylish
Durability: 6 hours are good for a citrusy summer freshener.
Sillage: narrow and without riverbank

Verdict: a tangy lime cocktail with zing, bite and fizz. The ginger is here just delicious - even if you are otherwise rather skeptical of him!

not a standout among ginger-citrus scents

This is a pretty and well-balanced ginger-citrus, but ginger-citrus scents are in a crowded field. I find it a bit masculine -- could be the black pepper. There's also a note I can't place that reminds me of old-fashioned (and lovely) Palmolive soap. It fades significantly after an hour.

As a woman, I don't find this to be worth it when the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Ginger Piccante is so much cheaper (USD $60 or so for 125 ml on eBay vs. $180 for 100 ml at Luckyscent) and I find it more elegant and lively. I guess this may be more of interest for men who find other ginger-citrus scents too feminine or for those who only want to buy niche scents.

Mr McSauber in the ballet with light-hearted spice

The balanced composition, which Heeley is quite used to, exists from the beginning.

The nose says, hmm, interesting note with clean, partly light tones, I arrange the composition in terms of colour with clear to white, but not pure white and linear but decorated with a veil, pastel tones interspersed with spicy aromas.

After a few minutes it becomes spicier, slightly spicier. The ginger enters the parquet floor. However, the appearance is not a fulminant one, Mr McIngwer is rather British, one may assume a certain peculiarity in the interplay with other fine aromas, but no fulminance or even dominance.

This was the first prank, the next one is observed, says the nose, classical radio lounge sounds greet from the ear and I lean back on the November sofa.
