ZONE H24 - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK - BIOHAZARD
H24 has insane projection in the beginning. It's an ankle perfume, don't let it anywhere near your nose lest it gets scorched. The scent is herbal artificial, like a cleaning product. There's nothing subtle about it, it's a chemical weapon. The yellow and green colors are on point, they just needed to add a biohazard symbol. ZONE H24 - ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK - BIOHAZARD.

Here's another way to think about this fragrance. Do you know those yellow and green highlighter pens? If you add this neon energy to a normal herbal scent like Aqua Fahrenheit, you get H24. Yet another analogy would be drinking a herbal tincture through your nose.

H24 EDP
I had been kind of looking forward to trying out the eau de parfum version of H24. After all, H24 EDT was one that I enjoyed, and I was wondering what Hermes might change up with a more concentrated edition.

One thing that I immediately noticed about EDP (other than that moss note), is the reduction of the sage note in comparison with the original.

This time, it opens up with its new found greenish qualities, and a more metallic influence from the sclarene.

With that amped up sclarene and the massive moss note, EDP is quite fresh and has a definitely coldness to its aroma.

Beyond that, you still are going to get the light yellow floral touches, which provide the composition some sweetness that existed with EDT.

As it moves along, the scarene will back off somewhat, taking with it much of the metallic aspect of this cologne.

The biggest boost comes with the rosewood note. That’s basically what this one is. Mossy rosewood with narcissus in the middle act. The dry down is a woody moss with the other notes, being faint background smells.

Fruity fresh opening, wet dirt and grass dry down
This fragrance has a beautiful fresh fruity opening, kind reminds me of Erba Pura’s “ boyfriend”. Fresh berry like. The mid is a bit green notes mix with the sweet fresh fruit, not bad at all. But the kicker is the dry down, smells medicinal, kinda like the bitter Chinese herb medicine, in a negative way. After about 30 minutes, the fresh fruity note is completely gone on my skin. Left with a wet dirt mix with wet grassy note, doesn’t smell clean or pleasant at all. The longevity of this fragrance is up there, luckily the dry down doesn’t project much. I would hate to smell like a dirty wet mop. Very disappointed.
For anyone like the H24 DNA, still recommend to try it on skin first before buying.

Amazing green scent
Overall, I'd say the H24 series are not for everyone. Some people like them, some people hate them - I personally am quite a fan, I enjoy artistic and creative perfumery and this is a very good example. Opens up with a very bright burst of - uhh. Everything really. It's hard to describe the scent, but just imagine you get onto ground level and smell a wild rose bush in a lively flower field with a refreshing wind. The scent stays quite linear for the whole duration, performance is very good - about 4,5 hours of good projection and the scent itself stays on the skin for nearly 10-12 hours. Definitely not for a blindbuy, try it before you buy it.
For me , it's the best flanker of the H24 series, and one of my favourite by Hermes.

Most Woody H24
I tested samples of H24 EdT, H24 EdP and H24 Herbes Vives on three consecutive warm days. The performance for all three is about average. For longevity, I got about 6 to 7 hours for the EdT and EdP while Herbes Vives was about 4 to 5 hours. Projection for all three was about arm's length for an hour or two. For me overall, the EdT performed best followed by the EdP (both were close) and lastly Herbes Vives.

H24 EdT is a really nice aromatic green fragrance. It's a pleasant, fresh green, not pungent. Some green fragrances are too much - smelling like your hands after pulling weeds from the garden. H24 is not like that, with the green accord being a smooth part of the overall scent.

H24 EdP struck me as more woody and less green with a more obvious touch of florals. The woody accord is also smoothed out here some, so it isn't sharp. H24 EdP also seemed a bit sweeter than the EdT.

H24 Herbes Vives ("live herbs") did not deliver a herbal experience for me. In the opening, I did not get much green or herbs but immediately the sweetness of the pear. (The EdT opens green while the EdP opens green/woody.) Over its life, it was also the sweetest of the three. Upon dry down, there was a more subtle green accord, but less than the other two. I did not get any pronounced cooling or refreshing aspect from the Physcool that I could tell.

All three H24's are sufficiently different that it wouldn't be redundant to own all three if you like them all. All three are masculine fragrances that would be pretty versatile. They are reserved enough for office use. The only restriction I'd say is they are really only useful on warmer to hot days or nights. I suspect on cold winter days, all three H24's would be lost and fade quickly away.

I preferred H24 EdT best and have added it to my shopping list.

Very good sharp, juicy, clean, masculine, earthy, crisp and hot iron. Unique and fantastic. This will be known as a designer classic. Bravo.

I would say 90% the same - just a bit denser and maybe a little greener. I actually like the airy nature of the edt more

In my opinion a very underrated fragrance. Smells like a green apple oak moss scent that is easy to wear and unique.

Grassy, herbal green with an odd smell of clothes steamer. In the drydown, oakmoss and woody notes. Heavier than the Eau de Toilette.

Alright, better than EDT on every term but I’m sticking with Terre.

A marginally weightier version of the original. Wouldn't have both in the collection

H24 EDT, mixed with "oakmoss" for a classic flanker that lasts slightly longer. If one likes/hates H24 EDT, it will be the same for H24 EDP.

Testing out H24 EDP, I usually got around 7 hours of wear, on my skin. But, sometimes it’d stick around for up to 8.5 hours.

Nice green opening, something in the drydown didn't sit right with me. More mature scent I'd say. Sadly not for me
