Infernal Trio
My two girlfriends and I may not have formed an "infernal" trio - but we certainly made an impression.
We were given that name because of our individual appearances.
Women could hardly be more different.
I was small and delicate - and typically fish-like, a bit anxious and dreamy, Birte was Nordic blonde and athletically toned - a brave lioness - and Martha was a curvy, sensual Scorpio.
There was something for every man's taste - which the gentlemen of creation knew how to appreciate.
We also had our signature scents: I wore Shalimar, Birte wore the men's fragrance from Versace - and Martha wore Jardin Secret.
I think we made good choices.
And Martha appeared before my inner eye again when I received Jardin Secret for my birthday.
There she was again, the beautiful Rubenesque woman, proudly wearing her curves.
I looked into her mysterious jade green eyes - which fascinated - but also irritated.
Martha could be exceedingly soft-hearted - but also very willful.
The floral splendor emphasized her undeniable presence - but did not overwhelm.
Just as Martha could also be reserved when the occasion called for it.
The flowers are indeed lush - but not heavy.
