Quelques Fleurs Jardin Secret Houbigant 2017 Eau de Parfum

My two girlfriends and I may not have formed an "infernal" trio - but we certainly made an impression.

We were given that name because of our individual appearances.
Women could hardly be more different.

I was small and delicate - and typically fish-like, a bit anxious and dreamy, Birte was Nordic blonde and athletically toned - a brave lioness - and Martha was a curvy, sensual Scorpio.

There was something for every man's taste - which the gentlemen of creation knew how to appreciate.

We also had our signature scents: I wore Shalimar, Birte wore the men's fragrance from Versace - and Martha wore Jardin Secret.
I think we made good choices.

And Martha appeared before my inner eye again when I received Jardin Secret for my birthday.

There she was again, the beautiful Rubenesque woman, proudly wearing her curves.
I looked into her mysterious jade green eyes - which fascinated - but also irritated.
Martha could be exceedingly soft-hearted - but also very willful.
The floral splendor emphasized her undeniable presence - but did not overwhelm.
Just as Martha could also be reserved when the occasion called for it.
The flowers are indeed lush - but not heavy.
The cool neroli note creates a certain distance - but amber and ambrette seeds keep the floral scent supple.

An adult fragrance, with a tendency towards elegance - but also woven with romance.

Although I am still not a "full woman" like my friend, I can definitely wear the "secret garden," as it also suits girlish ladies well.

And the secret that resides within it should be preserved.

Bright green-glowing green, light and shadow, a babbling brook. Flowers. The lily of the valley that reside here please AugustA more than usual. A gentle breeze blows. Powder, a slight distance, elegance, but also joy, a bit of buoyant citrus and still many flowers peeking out from the dull green of the grass. A hint of old-fashionedness, but one that brings a smile, because it is beautiful. The powder is very fine, the container it is in must be light green with a floral pattern embossing.
I find the scent to be a well-balanced floral blend crafted with a benevolent light hand, in which I can discern orange blossom, neroli, iris, and daffodil. And fine soft green splashes of all kinds, a very light, luminous texture. Perhaps a feather is also mixed in. Exquisite.
The base later becomes woody, with ambrette, musk, and sandalwood. Skin that evaporates wood! And this base even survived the shower. Very convincing.
