Such a classy and elegant perfume

Upon first sniff after receiving, this is a beautiful perfume. It has an understated elegance. Yet it has just enough depth as well as twists and turns to make it unique. You can definitely smell the heliotrope as well as the musk, Tahitian vanilla, pink pepper in the opening, and more. It has a decent sillage that becomes a skin scent around the 6-hour mark. I will allow it to macerate to see how much more beautiful it gets.

Modern vintage.

Mon Boudoir captured my imagination from the first puff: a classic yet modern perfume. It has an approachable elegance, warm, tender, like a hug from a mother that sees her newborn for the first time. The opening is effervescent, slightly spicy with pink pepper and bergamot. The amber dominates throughout adding warmth and depth. It makes me think of those epoch sepia photographs of women wearing maquillage, especially their pink blushed cheeks. When I wear it, I think of a world that has probably never existed, but has been created in my mind from ideas seeded here and there by pictures and sketches from the 1920's.

I love all the aspects of Mon Boudoir, from the magical liquid dream of resinous amber inside to the bottle like a frozen heart, where the veins are still slowly pulsating under the ice. The perfect companion for cold, dark fall and winter nights.

Mon Boudoir m-a încălzit și m-a liniștit de la primul puff. Este un parfum clasic reinventat pentru zilele noastre. Are o eleganță abordabilă, caldă, duioasă, ca o îmbrățișare de la o mamă care își întâmpină pruncul pentru prima dată. Deschiderea este efervescentă, ușor picantă cu piper roz și bergamot. Ambra domină in toate etapele adăugând căldură și nuanță. Mă duce cu gândul la pudra rozalie care înfrumuseța obrajii unei femei dintr-o fotografie sepia de prin 1930's. Când îl port visez la o lume care probabil nu a existat niciodată, dar care mintea mea a creat-o din idei semănate ici și colo de poze și picturi de epocă. Iubesc absolut toate aspectele lui Mon Boudoir, de la visul magic, lichid de ambră rășinoasă cu flori din interior până la sticla ca o inimă înghețată, unde venele încă pulsează. Este o răsfățare pentru zile reci și întunecate de toamnă și iarnă.

From the last century but trendy today

I dont know where can i begin yo speak about this perfume. It smells really very classy, elegant and exclusive. The flowers here are blended with real art. The flowery and powdery vibe here is wonderful! But at the same time It has a Woody, resinous and sweet parte, sometimes even close to some ouds, which gives tobthe perfume a more mysthical aspekt. The longevity of the perfume is very good, It is really dense and Deep; while the sillage is soft, present with you for many hours but always buildibg a very subtle aura. I find this perfume totally unisex because It has a very different (and sexy) behaviours on men skin. Honestly, i think this is a must for perfume lovers...

Warm-Spicy Dream

This fragrance came to me unexpectedly with a souk, and I would like to thank the generous J. once again!
This is a SCENT! Like in a wellness oasis, like in exclusive hotel baths, like in a fine Christmas shop. A women's fragrance. A winter fragrance. It should be cold outside. This perfume is multifaceted yet light, woody-creamy with its own unique sweetness. Warm, lightly spicy. More like a fine incense. I can't assign anything specific, and I don't want to. I want to enjoy Mon Boudoir. It simply smells wonderful and lasts for hours, while always remaining elegantly subtle, a fine veil that envelops you. In the end, you have this beautiful noble-spicy vanilla cream on your skin.
