Tabac Nomade
House of Houbigant, Tabac Nomade. WOW. Amazing.
Not just tabac nomade, but almost all of Houbigant's perfumes are amazing, they are not ''just'' fragrances. These fragrances take you away, far away to someplace magical.
Tabac Nomade is an wonderful fall and winter fragrance. It has some warm notes which makes it possible to use on dates. The opening of the fragrance is warm, sweet and a little bit smokey in my opinion. Which I have no idea where the smokeyness is coming from, it can also be described as powdery, this might be the spices or tobacco. I really have no idea. The next thing that catches my nose is the tobacco, vanille and leather combination in this fragrance. These three notes are greatly balanced which gives off a unique and marvellous scent. None of the notes are overwhelming or overpowering the other notes. The strongest one of them is vanille, but it is not too strong, 40/30/30 balance.
Now some words of the fragrance in action. About a month ago a friend of mine hosted a party, to which I wore this fragrance. A few people complimented me at the start of the night, but as the night went on, people drunk some more and smoked more which makes it harder to smell a fragrance. The longetivity of the fragrance needs some attention aswell. I sprayed 5 sprays on at about 20:00, before the party, two on my skin, three on my shirt. The next morning just as I went into the shower, I turned around to grab a towel and there it was. About 15 hours later, the smell of Tabac Nomade, unfortunately I got a bit of a headache because the smell was so overwhelming. However, the fragrance sits, it sits great.
