Leather cinema.
Seven Intense, that's another one who likes to be done wrong. Sure, he's got the drugstore label AND the merchandise brand. He must be bad.
Complex or demanding, it's not; Starts all-world-sweet-fruity, a little bit in Boss waters; Pleasing, but not exciting. Apple or orange? Somewhere in between and yes, synthetic. But then comes something I'd like to find elsewhere until now; There's a (yes, ok, again synthetic) leather note. It seems somehow sweaty, intimate, human, body-like, tropical-wet, perhaps even a bit animalistic. Not dry as in TL, or smoky as in Kolmaz' Arabi Cana, not as sublime as in Dior's Homme perfume, and also not as floral as in Amouage's Imitation Man. Most likely fruity green, as in Daniel Josier's Green Leather. There's that wicked thing missing again. I can't describe it exactly. If you're reading this, you're probably thinking
What is he interpreting into this Rossman and
How can he like that?
I don't know, I don't know. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way. But for me, this leather note is the soul of Seven Intense, gives it a story, and, quite incidentally, spans the arc to the woman bewitching double-zero agent. That's why I think it's a pity that the fragrance has no endurance. For one hour it is clearly perceptible, the first half of it as said rather fruity, then leathery-woody, but then quickly not even very close.
So who knows here a real Duftzwilling, has a bag of mustard with me well.
