Love Greetings but No Moonraker?
After testing the fragrance yesterday, I found it immediately interesting, and today I still think: anything but just for poor homme! Therefore, I was curious to see how it compares in terms of ratings to the James Bond 007 from 2012. Regarding the 2012 Bond, I must say that I like the scent, but I only use it when I am away from home on a mission and pack a fragrance in my bag. It's not so bad if a bottle breaks here, as it's not that expensive, and the laundry won't immediately stink of some unmistakable scent. After I accessed the page for the 2012 Bond on this portal, it became clear to me that my judgment about the fragrance must be due to my subjective ignorance; however, I was surprised by the poor rating of currently 4.2. There are quite a few fragrances that, in my opinion or nose, have the license to flop and receive a rating of 6 here! Well, the nose may be subjective, and maybe it's also due to my skin. But still... whatever... back to James Bond 007 pour Homme: This fragrance currently has a rating of 7.0, which is evidently much better received by the community, although the five ratings so far are not yet significant. For me, it is a nice fresh-aquatic scent, with the patchouli adding a certain spiciness, combined with a slight sweetness, so that the fragrance can be perceived quite differently than, for example, Aqua Di Gio. I really like the matte-transparent bottle with the black liquid, and it visually fits well next to the 2012 bottle on the shelf. My conclusion: As with the 2012 scent, James Bond 007 pour Homme is a pleasant, solid fragrance that takes no risks but may not be multidimensional enough for perfume connoisseurs or lacks a unique selling point. I believe this criticism is more applicable to the 2012 version. The price-performance ratio is top-notch, and it is a fragrance that can be worn very well daily.
