My Name is Headache, Synthetic Headache

I received a sample of this fragrance. I believe it was at Müller at the checkout in a card. It was purple, so I took it.

The first impression was quite nice. Definitely wintery, as the scent leans towards the heavier and sweeter side. Unfortunately, it is quite synthetic and lasts a long time, although longevity is not exactly a bad aspect. Unfortunately, this happens far too often with a sample that you don’t like. It clings like a burr and doesn’t let go easily. This does allow you to get a better idea of the fragrance, which is worth something again.

The scent itself starts sweet and slightly vanilla-like and fruity. Although there is no vanilla in it, it reminds me of it. Perhaps it’s the blend of Ylang-Ylang (which I like in my winter perfumes) and pineapple or something similar. I don’t know, but the opening is fruity and sweet. This quickly transforms into a synthetic mix of fruity notes and unpleasant patchouli, which gives me a slight headache. The sandalwood adds a soapy note to it all, which I really can’t stand.

The bottle is beautiful, I like the color, but the content not at all. I have also tested the pink version of 007 and found it equally unconvincing. You can give it a try and sniff it, but I wouldn’t buy it for myself.

Lila the Last Attempt!

Well, I was really looking forward to the 3rd one from the 007 for Woman series and somehow I'm disappointed. I think the 1st one is quite good and regarding longevity, I can't complain at all, unlike many others, it lasts super easily 7-8 hours on me. The second one was way too raspberry-heavy for my taste, but now to No. 3:
I have to say, I saw purple and thought, "Oh dear, will this work?!" I was right!!! Strangely, everything with purple liquids smells weirdly piercing, biting, and way too sweet on me - so all in all, a truly dreadful mix. The first thing I thought was - Hypnose - is that you?? I find the initial burst to be damn similar and interestingly both are purple! Okay, I admit later it doesn't get quite as strictly vanilla as Hypnose, but I find a certain similarity clearly noticeable.
In short, this isn't going to work out for us - what a shame, I was really looking forward to it!

I received a sample of 007 For Women 3 and tested it. When I see purple, I usually see red, as it often involves heavy and overwhelming scents. Therefore, I approached the test with caution and even factored in a potential migraine. But it turned out quite differently than I expected.

The opening is quite lively and appealing, even though I didn’t catch any pineapple or papaya. Just a hint of an undefinable fruit, but very pleasant and softly flattering. Quickly, Ylang Ylang and Frangipani joined in, creating a very harmonious scent along with the opening. The dry down with benzoin, sandalwood, and patchouli rounded off the fragrance beautifully, especially since patchouli was incorporated very subtly. So, it’s by no means a bombshell like in the 70s.

The longevity for me is 4 hours, which is perfectly fine. I may prefer warmer scents in autumn/winter, but they must not overwhelm my surroundings. All of this applies to this fragrance and makes it an elegant scent for the cold season. Also, the migraine did not occur, so Women 3 will be joining my collection.

I’m really into pineapple, but I don’t smell papaya - it doesn’t smell like anything as a fruit. Not bad.
