Affordable Scent Twin.
I wanted to get something inexpensive for my beach vacation.
Spraying during the day, applying lotion, and the mix of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen and good perfume is something everyone would consider a waste.
So I went to Rossmann and sprayed all the average EDTs, and then, wow! I grabbed one from a cardboard display in the shelf and was shocked at how independent it smells.
Super spicy, masculine but not old-fashioned. Since Bottega Venetta, I’m really into everything that has a woody-spicy scent, and indeed, a little hint of leather comes around at the end.
And unfortunately, the end is also the big catch, because it fades faster than the actual fun lasts.
It dissipates great summer vibes for over 30 "guys" in the first one and a half hours, then it gets thinner and closer to the skin, and after 4 hours, it's over.
No waste, as it and its brother Craft de Cologne were on sale for only 8 euros each for 30ml.
In everyday life, it won't make anyone happy, and I only use it after showering to smell good during an hour of couch time with my girlfriend.
If anyone knows the DNA in a more performant perfume, feel free to message me, because I really like it!
Addendum:
Interestingly, I found a "twin" rather involuntarily last night.
I wore a sample of YSL La Nuit de L'Homme EDP over the weekend and was annoyed that I couldn't figure out what it reminded me of. I went through my perfumes, and with the Balmoore Palace here, I was almost knocked off my feet.
If you concentrate, you can tell that the YSL Nuit is a bit sweeter and heavier, almost reminiscent of Raffaello even though there’s no coconut in it, but the scent progression remains very similar in both. Due to the actually better performance in terms of longevity, I would lean towards YSL, but the sillage in both is only close to the skin after a few hours. On textiles, both can still be smelled the next day.
