The smell of childhood
This fragrance has been in my collection for a long time. It is a most appreciated fragrance and I must say, that first time we, met I fell in love. The most exciting part is what happens after half an hour. This may sound strange but it smells like childhood… it leaves me confused every time I wear it because I cannot seem to grasp any reason why.
Maybe it is the Linden blossom… but no, I did not live close to any linden trees. I have come to the conclusion that it must be the Mimosa. The soft and somewhat green smell, powdery/sweet honey/woody… -ish. Wonderful! This is the heart of Duende.
I love the fragrance. It gives me a feeling of peace. Who would not like to have a smell that gives you all that?!

It’s Green, Green When Spain’s Flowers Bloom!
Duende actually means goblin, but what is supposed to be goblin-like about this scent eludes me.

Duende starts with a whole mountain of green leaves of various kinds, fresh, juicy, slightly woody, with linden and citrus - indeed - but by no means sweet.

This green note remains very long and is still noticeable at the end. The sillage is very good, Duende lasts a very long time.

Due to its fresh green nature, I believe Duende is very well suited for both genders and for young AND old.

Duende is not a softie; the note becomes beautifully woody at the end, but remains green due to the cumin (which you cannot smell) and does not become sweet.

I attribute absolute elegance to it, wearable with a costume or a suit, just as suitable in the office as in university, for going out as well as for sports and leisure.

A common scent??? Not at all!!! It has its very own, green character and although I generally prefer floral and sweet fragrances, Duende is a wonderful balance when something sweet is not desired.

Pleasant and Unobtrusive
"I had 'Duende' many years ago and completely forgot about it. Floblanca's comment reminded me of it again. Thanks to Black Cat, I can now test it extensively once more. Thank you!

In terms of scent, I wouldn't have recognized it. Back then, I couldn't do much with it. I preferred something more intense *gg*... But I could remember the beautiful bottle. Today, I find it quite pleasant. Fresh, a little floral, a little green, very unobtrusive. It has nothing in common with today's taste for fruity and sweet. Instead, it reminds me of a windy, sunny day on a deserted (yes, it exists) beach in southern Spain or the Canary Islands.

A truly beautiful fragrance that puts me in a longing holiday mood. Ah, I love Spain (no, not the Ballermann!!!)!

The Goblin is still green behind the ears!
In any case, in the top note, it’s still a little goblin who has just learned to climb, but can already climb trees and is giggling while tossing around “bergamots,” mandarins, and whole melons. Anyone who protests here gets a dose of linden blossoms on their head.

The little green guy climbs down from the tree and grows. Now he’s already a medium-sized goblin. Just nonsense in his head! He’s still green, and in the heart note, I briefly thought the goblin was called Cabotine by Grees. Well, it seems dear Jesus borrowed a bit from that one :-)
Caraway in the base is correct. It helps the now large green goblin digest his own ingredients.
A nice, green, funny scent. To me, it smells like a copy of Cabotine. The goblin of it, laugh!

Mimosa and ylang-ylang with a citrus opening. Floral-fresh spring fragrance. Average sillage and longevity.

describing you? you're not worth the effort... completely unnecessary
colorless, loveless... but synthetic! ehh, you can do that...

Green, citrusy, and aquatic, yet inevitably a bit synthetic. A bit of Issey Miyake, a touch of Fidji. Summer freshness.

Not green, greenish. The goblin loves unripe fruit and greenish herbs. Summer rain on greenish, forest-covered blooms.
