Warm Perfume

Gold Cedar Nights is a complex perfume that combines a variety of unique and high-quality ingredients. The top notes of cinnamon, bergamot, cardamom, and coffee create a warm and inviting aroma that instantly captures the attention of those nearby. The heart notes of nutmeg, cedarwood, praline, and patchouli add depth and complexity to the fragrance, making it truly unique and seductive. The base notes of amber, cedarwood, vanilla, and musk provide a rich and long-lasting finish, making it perfect for both day and evening wear. Overall, Gold Cedar Nights is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a sophisticated and high-quality perfume.

Christmas is definitely coming (back)...
....With gingerbread, stomach bread, and speculoos. And oriental spices. This is so typical for Central Europe, to connect one with the other so closely. But not just to be enjoyed at Christmas.
The fragrance standing before me is bursting with spicy cardamom and desert-sand-colored cinnamon. But there’s also something "coniferous" to be sniffed out! The cedarwood. This time not in the usual "pencil scent" manner but like the wood itself, including the needles with a resinous touch.
The praline note described above I cannot detect for myself, but I do sense earthy patchouli and dark, spicy vanilla. As if fresh from the pod.
The exact counterpart can be found in the nutmeg, which I can recognize very well later in the fragrance development. This olfactory "contrast" has something almost magical about it. And in no other fragrance I know can it be sensed like this.
Longevity and sillage are in the upper range. And I can imagine Gold Cedar Nights just as well on cool summer evenings. Or even in typical April weather.

Oh you beautiful cardamom
This is my first comment. I'm just going to give it a try, but when I read comments here that describe a fragrance so wonderfully, I can hardly keep up, that much is certain.

Now to the scent:
Right after spraying, you immediately notice the cardamom, which actually lasts at least through the first 4 hours of the perfume. At first, it is very strong, but over time, it becomes less pronounced and merges with the vanilla and musk into a benevolent sweetness, like a really delicious, creamy vanilla pudding.
In the opening of the perfume, you can also sense the nuances of black coffee. Those who pay close attention will definitely notice it distinctly. However, it does not come on with massive force, but rather like a delicate, young sprout that then fades back into the background along with the cardamom.
If I had to associate the perfume with a place, I would find myself in a warm location. A place where the crickets chirp, and you can hear the sea crashing. You occasionally get a breeze carrying the scent of cedar trees in the distance, but you can still smell them.
The transitions in this perfume are perfectly executed, and every time you smell it, the scent changes. It lives! Which is definitely not something to expect from every fragrance in this price range.

Thus, it can be said that anyone who loves cardamom and knows Parfums de Marly Layton can now imagine exactly how the cardamom is used here.
In my opinion, this perfume is a blind buy product for anyone who loves Layton. However, I also think others will definitely not go wrong with this perfume choice.

You’ve got to be kidding! "Intoxicated" for a budget price. Surprisingly high-quality copy. Still, I remain loyal to the original.

First, shave before having coffee. Sprinkled with lots of oriental coffee spices, especially cardamom. Plus dark wood + patch. Masculine.

Smells like "Intoxicated" by Kilian! But it's cheaper and, in my opinion, more potent! A candidate for purchase! :)

Coffee and chocolates with chocolate chips. Over time, the interplay of the notes creates a wine-like aroma. Definitely unisex.

Very cardamom, cinnamon-heavy, just how I like it, wintry, warming in the cold season, longevity and sillage are very good.

The top note resembles "Intoxicated," but then more amber, cinnamon, and vanilla come through, making it rounder/sweeter warmer. Unisex, elegant - love it!
