Very good perfume
I don't know if it's suggestion but I seem to pick up almost all the stated notes . It has that floral point that can vaguely remember saliva that is also felt in APOM and Aqua Vitae Forte and could be the mixture of ylang and orange blossom . Spices are hardly appreciable , however with imagination it seems that there is something hot-spicy in the background . The date is one of the main protagonists , which gave me some fear because it's sometimes cloying but it is very well mixed . At times the gardenia is very well felt , something more controversial for me here , since it's a somewhat difficult flower with its buttery coconut-like scent . Joining the floral bouquet is jasmine which comes and goes for a while .

The incense along with the oud may be in the composition giving a more serious and darker counterpoint , but always faint .

Over time it shows sweet resins ( myrrh , benzoin ) and I even think some softness of vanilla is appreciated .

As if that weren't enough also shows traces of patchouli , that note that isn't my favorite as you know , whoever reads me :) .

The performance is very good.

The conclusion is that you can like it more or less , you can get tired or not ... but it certainly seems to me very very well done and with a certain quality . It has that impression that sometimes I like to smell like a perfume with personality , doesn't smell like cookies , or woods , or pineapple , or leather ... smells like Arabian Nights and that's cool hehe .

The bottle is so beautiful , yes .

The feeling to lift a veil
This fragrance has been introduced two years ago while the house J. del Pozo made a big secret around it and his masculine counterpart. Since this year now is it available also in Europe - in Germany parfumdreams is fulfilling our dreams of arabian nights.

But is it really a fulfillment of our dreams...

As curious as I am I ordered one of these bottles within the WWW, looking for the lowest possible purchase price. Finally it was a blind purchase and therefore I had a purchase price limit.

Usually I'm opening such packages very carefully and serene; but in this case I was very impatient and I wanted to know rapidly, how these arabian nights are smelling. The relative big box was still in its cellophane cover and I pulled it off with one rip.
I opened the box and took out the bottle, a heavy dark-purple glass bottle with mate golden bottom and top caps. T(not removable) bottom cap shows punched-out stars - the same motive is shown on the top cap as coinage. From the top down the bottle looks like a hexagon, a frequently natural design - e. g. honeycombs or snow flakes have this form.

I sprayed it immediatelly and I expected a olfactory A-bomb; abundant, bombastic, overloaded in each way. But I was totally wrong!

Arabian Nights is starting absolutely fresh with a juicy, alcoholic orange note and a bit of cinnamon. I guess the pink pepper is creating this alcoholic first impression. A very pleasant entrance.

The heart note is fruity-floral but I can not notice any frankincense, which would have been very suitable here. The date juice allows a cushioned sweet background noticeable only directly on my skin.

This fruity-floral accord lasts with no doubt about 6 hours before the warm and resinous base accord gets importance. This base accord is totally different to the heart note and therefore extremely beautiful for me. At night, going to bed, I could smell the heart note and the next morning I woke up with the wonderful base with perfectly aligned on each other.

Today I'm wearing Arabian Nights the whole day already and I enjoy every hour the wonderful development of this fragrance.

No matter if arabian nights are smelling like this, with Arabian Nights the fragrance lover gets a first-class composed perfume at an acceptable price.

Sand in the Gears
An unusual scent that truly lives up to its name. In contrast to Florblanca, I find it quite cloying, and I definitely smell incense, and not a little. (I always find it interesting how different scent perceptions can be.) The opening of the top note has a certain freshness, which I believe is due to the pepper. This peppery freshness is underlaid with a sweet floral note that is spicy, but I don’t detect cinnamon here. The heart note comes on strong, cloyingly sweet, sweaty bodies colliding in passion on a hot desert night. Unfortunately, the incense throws sand in the gears for me; it is too dominant and overshadows the exciting aromas of the top note deep into the base. I must note, however, that I have always had a somewhat ambivalent relationship with incense.
In the base, the scent becomes less sweet, to my relief also a bit less incense-heavy, but darker, even heavier, and more animalistic. I find a certain woody edge particularly interesting, which we probably owe to the oud. For me, it clearly evokes hot Arabian nights. With the incense, they may have just gone a bit too far.

Has a real punch! I always have to smell it! It leans towards 90's hits, becomes the original Poison on my skin + has a slight smoky touch!

Spain goes Orient, a rather sweet floral scent, accompanied by oriental ingredients like incense, myrrh, benzoin, and a hint of oud.

Sweet, oily, cozy-warm rose gourmand with a praline note that reminds me of "Oriental Edition II." Quite delicious and long-lasting.

Interestingly, it reminds me a bit of the old Coco Chanel. Maybe it's the floral notes, but they definitely dominate on my skin.
