From Gray Scratchy Wool to White Silk
Does anyone still remember the ancient laundry detergent commercial for the wool detergent Sanso from the 70s? A little cartoon sheep looks visibly uncomfortable on a wool sweater that has NOT been washed with Sanso. The culprit is housewife Erika, who has ruined the sweater because she has no idea how to wash wool. I had imagined that White Silk would be a cuddly soft skin caresser, so I was initially quite disappointed when I sprayed it on. Instead of white silk, I had on my skin an old, gray, ancient, matted, not softened, and also not washed with Sanso scratchy wool sweater! Very unappealing, unforgiving, and uncomfortable. At first, I smell neither mandarin nor peach. But maybe it’s precisely these two that are so annoying. Unfortunately, this scratchy-unpleasant note lingers for a good one to two hours before the old wool transforms into silk. But it is definitely worth the wait! Because now White Silk becomes increasingly creamier, softer, and merges with the skin. Every sheep would feel comfortable with me now! A few delicate flowers also come to the fore now, and yes, with a bit of imagination, a peach could be rolling around too!
White Silk is a gentle, creamy-soft, delicately floral, unobtrusive, and unsweetened feel-good fragrance that fits well in spring and summer. If you can get past the top note. Perhaps the opening is much more pleasant in warmth. I will definitely try it out next year!
