Drowning in Caramel
After searching high and low for a sweet, sticky, thick caramel scent for the winter, I landed on this. I was a bit scared when it came in, as some of the reviews had ranged from it being the most delicious Sticky Dates dupe, to a disgusting burnt tire smell. Automatically, you smell a strong caramel and coffee scent. It almost reminded me of coming home after work where I made espresso drinks from 9-5, and as a result smelled like I had a dumped a bucket of ground espresso on myself. However, the intense and slightly bitter scent of the coffee is being slightly overtaken by the caramel, and not a fake chemically smelling caramel but a genuine warm caramel that has been heated up over the stove. As you wear it, the orange notes begin to come through. The final scent is reminiscent of a Terrys chocolae orange, but without the chocolate?
If your looking for a thick and delicious fall/winter scent, this is it. But do be careful, only 2 to 3 sprays of this is necessary, over spraying this brings out the bitter notes and is headache inducing with how sweet it is.
