The similarity bomb with a little more vanilla...
The most important question first: Do you need Khadlaj's Gaith if you already have Dior Sauvage Elixir and/or Lattafa Asad? Probably not. There is only one small thing that distinguishes it from the two.
The opening is absolutely identical to the Lattafa fragrance, as is the fundamentally peppery DNA from which you can smell the Dior elixir. That's why it won't surprise you when you smell it for the first time - and since it was a blind buy, I was even a little disappointed at first because I already own the Dior and Lattafa. But then I tested it as soon as it got a bit cooler in the evening, and in the drydown it did change a bit. It seems a little softer and sweeter than the other two fragrances, which is due to a very round and really successful vanilla. I liked Gaith because, if you apply it at the right time, it also leaves a different impression on people in terms of its sillage. The pepper then blends well with the clearly perceptible incense and the vanilla that ultimately shines through.
A purely peppery, incensey, subtle vanilla fragrance that is an absolutely fair deal for this price. It has a strong sillage over the first three hours, then becomes a little weaker in its radiance, but never feels skin-deep. I found the longevity to be above average because I noticed it on me throughout the day - not to mention my clothes, which still smell of it for days.
So if you need an alternative to Dior/Lattafa because you find them too pungent, I think you'll be fine with Gaith, which has an identical opening but a different gradient.
