A fragrance with a plot twist that not everyone will like.
Just by listing the fragrance notes, you read "fresh" and then "gourmand," and you wonder - in which season and for what occasion would something like this fit?
I honestly answer: I own this fragrance and still don't quite know.
It starts fruity, zesty, summery. A very cool juicy sweet lychee note that makes you want to lick your wrist. However, the wonderful refreshing fruit juice is soon gone, and what comes next...
Ambrette seeds. Jasmine. Saffron. In your face. There's no talk of "fresh" anymore. From here on, the progression is quite linear, and I would say it doesn't really fit summer anymore, but it is - for me - very nice, and I wore it today - very cautiously dosed - at work.
In general, I would recommend cautious dosing with this fragrance, as it has quite a good sillage and lasts really long, even on the skin on a hot day.
Due to its contradictory character, it wouldn't be a repeat offender in my wardrobe, but I will enjoy it as long as I have it, even if it doesn't fit any occasion - then I'll just dance on the days that are out of the ordinary. Cautiously dosed, of course.
