Hot Milk + Brown Sugar
Lily of the valley?! What lily of the valley? My poor, deluded nose picks up a steaming cup of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix with milk. And I don't know if kissing does burn those 6.4 calories, but I'm pretty sure this bottle is chock full of them. It's a cute gourmand, I can't imagine myself wearing this if the thermometer climbs above 20C, but now I seem to be vibing with it. It's better than bad, it's...good?

Drinking warm, sugared milk and looking at my mom's garden
Cozy, creamy, but rather lacking in the lily of the valley department; there's a faint touch of floral, but overall this comes across as a very soft, lactonic gourmand on my skin. The silage is on the weaker side, but I can't say this is a terribly bad thing -- a strong milk scent could easily become unpleasant, so I don't mind that this settles pretty close to the skin. The scent definitely leans toward the synthetic, but again, not in a bad way. It gives condensed, sweetened milk vibes -- not as natural as normal milk, more of an artificially concentrated, sugarier version.

This is a pretty linear scent without much evolution; it smells basically the same a few hours in as it does at the start. Perhaps a little more of the floral starts peeking through, but as someone who grew up regularly smelling lily of the valley, I still wouldn't name that note without being told it was there. But it does have a warm, comforting familiarity to it in a way that brings me back to that much-loved flower even if I couldn't pick it out independently. The overall vibe is drinking warm, sugary milk while looking at my mom's garden full of lily of the valley, imagining the way they smell -- the direct floral isn't there, but the memory is.

Aunt's Kiss
I like the round flacons from Kilian and their groundbreaking texts.

So I found it interesting, as someone who isn't into sports, that a one-minute kiss supposedly burns 6.4 calories.
Now that's a workout to my taste!
No annoying changing into sports clothes - just sinking directly into the arms of my beloved - and kissing passionately until the blood starts to boil.
A perfect idea.

But unfortunately, it remains just a theory - because this Kilian kiss stays well within limits - even though I try to imagine sexy Rhys Meyers.
Thoughts are free, after all.

But the hot Johnny is overshadowed by the image of my dear Aunt Emmi, who also loves to give me a smooch as a greeting.
That's quite pleasant for me - but far from any passion.
Calorie burning - maybe 1.0.

I would have to hug my aunt for quite a long time to reach a significant burning value - and I believe - neither of us wants that.

The scent is lovely with the lily of the valley and cozy with the milk - rock candy blend.
It fits well in Aunt Emmi's farmhouse kitchen - where she lovingly boils milk for me.
But that rather adds calories than burns them.

But I don't really want to lose weight anyway - and I gladly let myself be pampered by Aunt Emmi and the scent.

Of Klosteinen, burnt condensed milk, and cozy feelings
This morning, there was a spray ambush from Mister X with Kilian's “Kissing burns 6.4 calories a minute, wanna workout?” My first impression was: Wow, this is sweet! Warm, thick milk, I can sense a hint of lily of the valley beneath the massive soup, which slightly drifts it into a Klostein direction. The last time at Douglas, we both didn't get past this stage; the test stick was disposed of as quickly as possible. But this time, I was brave enough to stick my arm in right away, before I even saw which of the 4 Kilian fragrances from the new, more affordable line it is (I had already reported on 2 of them in my blog). Often, body heat is needed for the scent notes to unfold beautifully and come to life, more so than is possible on such a dead and cold piece of cardboard, as my intense testing last year taught me, and indeed, the new Kilian is developing into a very sweet and captivating fragrance. I can clearly smell even one spray on my tapping hand, and I like it much better than during the first test. The Klostein accord dissipates quickly. “Somehow like bad vanilla pudding,” my Miss Y exclaims. The milk note is indeed prominent, but it evokes less the association of freshly milked cow's milk, and much more of heavily sweetened condensed milk that has been heated and reduced to the point of almost burning. The lily of the valley has also quietly disappeared within a few minutes and has never been seen again. Longevity and sillage are, as usual, top-notch with the Kilians. Even the small spritz on my wrist wafts to my colleague at the desk several meters away and has completely overwhelmed my poor Alien Flora Futura, which I actually wanted to test thoroughly today.

Whether the sweet milk mixture invites calorie burning is debatable; I also don't feel motivated to kiss anyone. I couldn't charm my lunch date with the brew either, the only advantage being that it masked my garlic breath after the gyro plate, which I craved as a counterpoint to the sweet scent, should not go unmentioned.

With the greasy, salty food in my stomach, close to a food coma, I find the scent fitting for the first time today. Instead of pushing a dessert afterward, a quick sniff is enough, and my sweet tooth is satisfied. I would love to curl up somewhere content and take a midday nap.
Contrary to the name, I don't find the scent exciting or sexy. However, it does create a cozy and calming feeling for me as the hours go by; I would just like to forgo the all-overwhelming first impression.
After 5 hours, I like the scent more and more; I don't want to talk about a base note, as it runs quite linear after the lily of the valley has disappeared. In the lower dosage, it has a stronger caramel note and almost a nutty quality.
In summary, I must admit that KB6.4CAMWW does not smell unpleasant per se; sweet tooth lovers will get their money's worth. However, it is strongly advised not to use more than 2 sprays; the environment will thank you for the killer sillage.

Creamy Summer Companion
I have wanted to test a few Kilian fragrances for a long time. Since most Kilian scents are quite expensive, I had my eye on the more affordable "My Kind of Love" series for my first introduction to the brand. So, a big thank you to Parforgie for organizing the sharings, allowing me to test "Kissing" and "Princess".

The scent:
Right after spraying, there is a cloud of artificial bubblegum flowers, which fortunately dissipates after about a minute.
What unfolds next is a strong, sweet, and soft lily of the valley. This is framed by warm, creamy notes. The scent reminds me a lot of a floral, rich sunscreen. However, it is really very soft and gentle; nothing about this fragrance scratches or pricks.
Over time, the floral aspect diminishes, and the creamy notes also quiet down. The scent drifts a bit into a vanilla-caramel territory (rock candy?) and becomes increasingly balsamic. In the drydown, the balsamic support of the creamy notes reaches its peak, so that even after hours, I find myself sniffing my arm again and again to soak in this warm-soft scent.

Conclusion:
At first sniff, I was truly shocked due to the artificial, gum-like floral note. "Kissing" is a fragrance that you really need to give at least a minute or two for the artificial note to fade away; then you are rewarded with a wonderfully soft-warm, creamy, and gently balsamic sunscreen that also scores well in terms of longevity and sillage.
Even though the scent is overall rather heavy and rich, it still gives a bright and friendly overall impression and fits well into the warm season for me due to its sunscreen tendencies.
I don't find it old-fashioned, as it is often described here; rather, I perceive it as mature, well-groomed, and elegant. However, I know this is very individual (for the sake of completeness, I would like to point out that the community's classification in the pie chart tends to categorize the scent as more suitable for younger people, which comes across differently in the comments and statements and initially deterred me from testing it).
I am definitely glad that I got to know this wonderful scent, which will sweeten my summer time, and I think a bottle will soon find its way to me.

I've rarely seen a more ridiculous name for a fragrance. And then there's this clunky bottle. Kilian or KIK? Who knows?

Oh crap, the name is really a turn-off. The scent itself is unfortunately just a candy bomb that lacks sophistication.

Smells like very sweet coconut with lily of the valley for me. After an hour, I felt so sick that I wanted to wash it off, but it wouldn't come off.

It's a shame that the scent is rated so poorly here. I really like it - it smells nice, milky, sweet, and warm. Longevity is very good!

With this grandma-powder-soap-water, I have no desire to kiss. I'd rather grab a face mask. Stuffy!

After a walk through a lily of the valley meadow with lots of green + a few roses, there's sweet vanilla milk. Bright, warm, soft, creamy.

Beautiful lily of the valley bathing in milk, followed by a rain of sugar, until the flowers are soon covered in sweet crystals! The base is amazing.
