Too much, too late

At its best, eighties perfume was a daring spectacle. An olfactory circus of two rival stars, Poison the ice queen, and the giant canary Giorgio.
Krizia Moods is a green banana sundae that tailed the end of the Giorgio craze. It was released after Cool Water had set the dial to Oceania.
And so, Moods was not only derivative but irrelevant from the day it appeared.
A truly banal clod-hopper.

Dilemma

Oh, I don't really know, I found the Moods by Krizia Eau de Parfum not so bad at all, but in the end, I wasn't completely taken with it. The longevity is quite impressive at around 12 hours with a successful sillage.

The top note starts off green-herbaceous with bergamot, lemon peel, basil, and mint. The top note then offers a sea of flowers consisting of iris, violet, magnolia, garden carnation, orchid, lily of the valley, daffodil, jasmine blossoms, as well as rose water. An aldehydic soapy quality resonates with it. The base then sounds quite woody with cedar and sandalwood.

I will probably use up the rest of my vintage miniature like this, as I somehow can't quite get a handle on it and need a few more attempts to understand the scent. The smell is actually fine, but the spark just doesn't quite ignite :-(
