Good Pear Fragrance
This is the pear cousin of Mure et Musc Idea: simple, straightfoward and focused on a single fruit. But instead of Musc, you get a good dose of pollen-like flowery aroma. I confess that i'm not so fond of pear fragrances because they usually smell very functional to me, like a shampoo aroma or a ironing product. But on this one the pear seems more realistic, like ripe pear, and when it starts to go into the functional direction the mimosa aroma gives it the floral edge needed to make it like a sophisticated fragrance. I don't notice much vanilla on me, maybe it's used on small amounts to round the fragrance, but if i didn't knew it was vanilla i'd thought it was musc. I don't know if this collection is still sold, but when it was it had a more exclusive distribution which i think it's not coherent with this fragrance.
